The beer is brown-orange-golden and both aroma and flavour are as expected extremely sour, tart and vinegar like. There isn’t much trace of raspberry, it’s more like a periphery shade in the flavour. I’m not in doubt that this is a big beer in many ways, but I once again have to resign to Cantillion and simply accept, that I not yet anyhow - am hardcore enough to enjoy their beers... 2139 larsga (2958), Oslo, Norway

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 19, 2007 Another enjoyable lambic. Pours amber with a tight off-white head with a hint of pink. the aroma is mustier than most Cantillons with tart raspberries, hints of sour grapes and tart cherries. There is an odd earthiness I can’t pin down, but I’ve noticed it in another lambic. Medium / thin body that is ultra-crisp with a medium spicy carbonation bite. The taste has white grape skins, geuze tartness and a mere hint of raspberries. The finish has grainy spice, pepper and vinegar sourness. Lambics keep moving up my list for a favorite style and this one just helps the argument. Thumbs up for this nice fruit lambic. Eructoblaster (1480), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
