Ungstrup (14758), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 16, 2003 The aroma is very special a little metallic and sour and like a dunghill - attracting and repulsive at the same time - very interesting. It is clear red with a head the starts big but vanishes extremely fast. The flavor is flat, rather acidic and yet sweet - it lingers on the palate and lips. The nicely sour - without being too sour. It only has hints of metal in the flavor. It is very hard to tell, that it is a Framboise. Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 2, 2005 (Bottle 75 cl) Pretty pink colour and pink head. Sour nose with only a vague memory of raspberries. Sour, vinegary flavour that completely overpowers the berries - what a shame. Acid all the way through. This is a typical Cantillon tastebud killer - mainly a beer for the masochistic beer drinkers. 160598 omhper (12155), Stockholm, Sweden May 16, 2002 Very authentic lambic, which means really sour. Cocktail berry red. Not much raspberry flavour at all, just a slight hint. It’s good, but just too sour for me to fully enjoy, as I react physically to the sourness - my cheeks contract, and my throat and stomach burns.
yespr (11649), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 8, 2008 37.5 cL bottle at Ølbaren. Pours hazy red with a creamy off-white head. Aroma raspberry fruity and dry. Very nice ;o)) (150708) oh6gdx (8802), Vasa, Finland Jan 23, 2006 Bottled. Very reddish colour with some amber hints, almost no head. While pouring sweet strawberry/raspberry mixed aroma, with the Cantillonish-bitter-sour notes coming after it is in the glass. Strong Cantillonish lambicflavour. Aftertaste has some weak fruity and berryish hints, but as usual the sourness/bitterness covers it up pretty much. Some wineish hints also. MiP (8793), Sønderborg, Denmark Jun 1, 2005 Bottle.
