3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Appearance: Dark cherry red with a full inch frothy hot pink head which settles pretty quickly to nothing....lots of carbonation in this bad boy
Smell: Hopped out raspberries and" peppery-phenols’ r’ us"...very tart and sour aroma as well..very nice
Taste: Wow can we say very sour and tart raspberry vino...I am not too much for sourness when it comes to lambics....though its quite often the case....but for the style it seems appropriate and fair....just a bit too much....flower pedals...and champagne characteristics also jump out to me
Notes: Pretty nice stuff...lots of depth....just a bit to sour and I couldn’t drink more than one of these

Fuschia pour with light pink head that remains for many minutes. Smells like sour raspberries. Flavor is straight raspberry juice. This is delicious. Possibly my favorite ever.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
37.5cl bottle served in a tulip. Pours deep red with a pink head and heavy carbonation. Aroma is clearly raspberries but not the sweet jam-like raspberries found in other beers. Thse are the tart puckering kind but sadly the taste has little to offer in terms of balance and this is almost pop-like in it’s sweet and sour flavours. Really quite one-dimensional. Very refreshing and spritzy but nothing remarkable and not worth the money. The label is amusing however...

Really lovely red colour. Sweet on the nose with really fresh raspberry notes. Quite tart and a touch sweet with plenty of raspberries. Just a touch sharp on the finish.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
375ml bottle from Marseille bottled 29.9.2015, enjoyed at home.
The aroma is of fresh raspberries, very pleasant.
The beer pours with a minimal head and has a lovely pinkish color.
The taste is raspberry juice. But what a raspberry juice it is, there is no taste of alcohol the sour raspberries dominate the flavour with some more lambicy notes towards the end, the carbonation is average.
Give this a try, it is something worth tasting and paying for. Make your own mind about this esteemed brew.
