4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle. Pours all hazy deep red with slight purple shine, very nice 1 finger light pink head, fizzy. Aroma is crazy delicious. Packed eyes grapes and merlot. Cherie candy, raspberries, oak, vanilla, red wine and tannins. Light wheat, some yam, fruity, yet dry brett, Cantillon funk, leather, subtle barnyard. Taste is super fresh, fruity and tart. Really sour, some lemon and lime, lactic acidity, funk, sour cherries, sweet grapes and raspberry yam. Candy at first. Packed with red grapes and oak, almost spicy oak. Fruity most grapes turns more towards red wine. Fizzy body and oaky tannins in finish. Wood and long tart finish, ever-lasting. Really dry oak and brett. Best Cantillon I’ve had so far...
