Pours a transparent burgundy red with a pink head which soon recedes to a formation of bubbles. Aroma is very rustic - barnyard, basement aromas, earthy, horse blanket and grape skin. Taste is barnyard, funk, light sourness of lemons and tartness of green apples, slight red grape. Long and sour finish. Full body with light-medium carbonation.

On tap at Moeder Lambic. Dark pink with a head that reduces quickly. Aroma: veyr sour and funky. Taste: very complex, a high degree of "verwovenheid" (sorry for the Dutch). Sour, fruity, very hard to describe. Finish: long and very sour, only just on the right side of the border of being too acidic. Excellent!

Rating 1000 at my fathers birthday. Hazy dark red with small light pink head. Funky, dead leaves, yoghurt, elderberrries and grapes, young red wine, oak tannins, berry pits. Medium tart, a hint of sweetness and light to medium bitter finish. Medium bodied with nice fresh feeling carbonation. Very nice.

Bottle, ’13, split a few ways. Rating #900. Slightly hazy dark red pour with a small head. Nose has some funk, lots of berries, grapes, leather and light balsamico. Taste is smooth, moldy, grapes, blueberries, dusty, funk and some leathery notes. Delicious stuff!

Pours a hazy ruby tinged tea color with an off white head and decent lacing. Aroma is tart with some barnyard and wine grapes. Some mild sweetness at the beginning that is overtaken by a moderate vinegar sourness. Some grape and raspberry flavor along with some wood and a mild funk. Mouthfeel is crisp with a light/medium body and high carbonation. Very good.
