Red light muggy color with no foam. The smell is light sour and a tiny bit grapy. The taste is moderately sour for a cantillon and has a light blurry feeling on the tounge. Dry and sour aftertaste. Very pleasant.

Bottled November 21 2010. Clear chrystalline seemingly confected red glow in colour. Nose of sharp must, cherry and fermented grape wrapped in cheese cloth. Gentle acidic lip smacking tartness followed by more extreme elements of red currant, cherry, wood and wild yeast.Leaves a lingering puckering chewiness in the mouth. An experience.

Bottle. Friends of Ham, Leeds. Dark pink, with a light haze. Fine halo of pale pink head. Softly sour, black grape. Cherry stone woodiness. Not massively complex, but very juicy, and inviting. Taste is lightly acetic. Not far off bone dry, apart from a hint of sweetness on the lips. Very refreshing, easy drinking, and clean. Lovely balance of flavours. The barrel ageing comes through right at the end. Could drink this all day.

Tap@Akkurat. Dark red with pinkish head. Dark red fruity aroma with that typical Cantillon barnyard fun. Quite fruity taste with some red berries, funky barnyard, tart grapes and dark grape finish.

750 ml, bottled 22 October 2014, from a trade with Orson0368. Thanks a lot Paul!
Wine red to purple, hazy body, with a medium, creamy, fizzy, pink head, that dissipates to a small, stable ring.
Fresh, complex aroma of barnyard, mild cheese, sour grapes, sweet berries, green apples, wine, barrel notes, subtle malt sweetness.
Taste is sour, dry, with wine barrel notes, barnyard, sour grapes, sour berries, earth, sweet and sour apples, some sugar.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with an average, fizzy carbonation.
Finishes complex again, sour, dry, wooden, somehow salty, but also a bit sweet, fruity and wine like.

Very tasty. The nose is the highlight for me, fresh and really complex, where you get more and more aromas the longer you put your nose in. The taste is more common, sour and dry, really well balanced and with nice wine barrel notes. One of the best Lambics I’ve had so far.
