3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: MAR 29, 2010 Bottle at Ealing Beer Festival 2008. Thanks to Maria/Renffisch for this one. Hazy raspberry colour with thin pink head. Lambic farmyard aroma, some red wine grape. I mean I try to like Cantillon beers, but they are just too acidic, very good lemon and some red wine cherry fruit flavuor, but too acidic. Does have nice cherry aftertaste though and extraordinary farmyard/acidity. 3.3/5.0 Re-rate at the new Moeder Lambic. Hazy deep red. Very red wine grape on aroma. Lovely fruit in mouth. Lovely linger on finish, really good red wine finish. Lovely.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared by Crosling, thanks Nick. Poured a pink-grape color with a moderate pink-tinted head that faded to a ring. Aroma of sweet grapes, light berry, tart funk, and some moderate yeastiness. Smooth, lightly tart entry with undertones of grape and tart berries leads into a more funky sourness with some dry yeast character on the finish. Pretty nice.

Vwery Lovely Lambic Indeed. Not too tart or sour, and the aftertaste was like Concord grape juice versus a bourdeaux. Easily Drinkable.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On draft at Teresa’s Next Door. Poured slightly hazy ruby red that appeared undercarbonated. Nose was fruity and vinous. Agree with others that it had the appearance of a wine. Sweet, complex fruity flavor initially with a sour, acidic finish.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle shared by the mighty TurdFerguson in his beer-heavy lair at the C.C. drink-down. Wow, now this is what it’s about. Blended version of this awesomely dry beer, which was a real treat. A pale rose color, crisp and lively just to look at much less to drink. There’s a modest and subtle nose, with dry grapes and lovely oak in the aroma. Active and quite present mouthfeel, dancing on the tongue. The finish is just ridiculously long and dry, with mild funk and ripe fruits everywhere. Superb.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
2006, 75 cl, bottle. Looks like the swedish soft drink hallonsoda - reddish with white head. Aroma is lambic-ish - some funky notes of barnyard and sweaty horse - but here the funky notes are balanced with some nice fruits and a hint od red wine. Flavour is sour - squeezed lemons - with some funkiness and some harshness from the grape skins and seeds. Somewhere deep inside you can feel a hint of sweetness as well. The finish is dry with notes of grapes and red wine and a hint of bitterness. I really liked this lambic - the tartness is extremely mouthwatering! Great stuff!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottled Oct 25th 2006. Pours out a light ruby color with a light pink almost whit head. Aroma is vinous with some grape notes. Taste is very well balanced, sour vinous notes throughout some nice tart grape flavors and some funk going on in there too. Pricey bottle and pretty much worth it.
