Bottle from 2005 Doft: Funky... oh yes, sur likaså... omedelbart gör den till känna att den inte är en liten parvel som sin yngre kusin. I denna finns det mer kraft, helt klart. Ek, torkad frukt och mjölksyra blandar sig i doften tillsammans med funken. Den luktar verkligen helt fantastiskt. Smak och munkänsla: Oj, här blev jag förvånad. Jag förberedde mig på en käftsmäll i form av syra, men istället möttes jag av en väldigt välbalanserad smak där den extrema syran balanserades upp nästan helt och hållet av en intensiv, söt smak av kanderad frukt och russin. Rent spontant (höhö... no pun intended) känns den mer som en flamländsk röd än en druvlambic! När man dessutom smakade ölen tillsammans med ett hallon så framhävdes sötman helt galet mycket och lät smaken av torkad och kanderad frukt bara lysa igenom. Asgott! Utseende: Inte bara smakade den likt en flamländs röd utan såg också ut som en. Mörkröd, nästintill brun, färg med ett cremevitt skum. Såg relativt ful ut i jämförelse med glaset blåbær men ack så inbjudande.

Bottle. Pours all hazy deep red with slight purple shine, very nice 1 finger light pink head, fizzy. Aroma is crazy delicious. Packed eyes grapes and merlot. Cherie candy, raspberries, oak, vanilla, red wine and tannins. Light wheat, some yam, fruity, yet dry brett, Cantillon funk, leather, subtle barnyard. Taste is super fresh, fruity and tart. Really sour, some lemon and lime, lactic acidity, funk, sour cherries, sweet grapes and raspberry yam. Candy at first. Packed with red grapes and oak, almost spicy oak. Fruity most grapes turns more towards red wine. Fizzy body and oaky tannins in finish. Wood and long tart finish, ever-lasting. Really dry oak and brett. Best Cantillon I’ve had so far...

2014 from bottle to glass. Red hue with delicate pink head that dissipated. Aroma is wine, lactic, oak, straw, sweat. Mouthfeel is refreshing with a light body and zesty carbonation. Taste is dry with a tart following. Overall this is a nice brew.

Pours a beautiful deep rubine with pink head. The smell is must, red grapes, hearty crispness. The taste is red wine, wood, tart fruit, ending dry and fruity crisp. Light in body with elegant carbonation. Great stuff!!

Pours red with a small head. Nose shows musty red wine barrels, lots of funk and woody oak. Similar flavours: musty, woody oak, berry notes, soft red wine and a little astringency.

Bottle in the garden, 18th July 15. Pours clear and clean, aroma, vinous, some tart cherry, straw, funk, the taste is complex, grape, not too sour, massive flavour, straw, base geuze on the finish, love it!

Bottle @ moeder lambic. Slightly hazy red, reddish head, some lacing. Aroma, red berries, red wine notes, apples, cherry candy. Taste, red wine, apples, grass, citrus, lime, . Dry mouth feel. Light fine carbonation.

Bottle, 2012 ed. Pours cloudy brown/ruby. No retention/lace. Aroma of grape, funk, barrel, berry, dust. Taste is tart, funky, earth, vinous, berry, dust. Palate is soft, slick, tart finish. Excellent.

29/03/14. 75cl bottle, thanks to k0mpsa. Cloudy dark brown color with light red head. Nose has exotic fruits and red berries. Sour taste, grapes, some sweet berries with lenghty finish.

Bottle shared at Anchorage tasting group Jun ’15: Poured a dark reddish with a white thin head. Aroma is strong funky grapes and fruit. Taste is tongue twisting sour with loads of fruit tang.
