4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Fresher vintage (2010 or ’11) rated from notes in fall 2011. Pours raspberry red with fluffy clouded white heading. Smell is sweet wine grapes and raspberries. Taste is much more mild than typical aged Cantillon (fruit or otherwise). Very enjoyable tart finish that’s not too acidic. Incredibly unique and love how fruit forward the fresh vintages are.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Sample shared by a friend. Slightly hazy reddish-plum color with a medium fizzy pinkish-white head that evaporates steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of vinous oak, yeast and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of tart berries, peppery yeast, wood and grapes. The finish is moderately sour with a wine and yeast aftertaste. Good all around.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from P&M-Getränke. Soon vanishing small head, ember red, slightly brown color.
Aroma of grapes, malt, refreshing sourness, wine and old cheese.
Tastes of grapes, mashed up with malts, with an underlying slight sweetness. Then tartness gets stronger and sour notes become more recognizable. Still, grapes remain on the palate, adding a decent body to the sourness. Slick, smooth finish with a long sour aftertaste. Grapes are in perfect balance with the usual lambic sourness all the time.
