3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Poured hazy purple color with minimal fizzy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Good tart grape & yeasty aroma. Medium body with tingly texture and lively carbonation. Moderate to heavy sour fruity flavor with a solid tart fruit and small alcohol bite finish of moderate to long duration.
This is a standout lambic.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
The color is like raspberry juice and the head is nice and pink. The aroma has notes of barnyard, sweat, basement and wine. The flavour has notes of moderately sour grapes, sweat and basement. Iím not fond of this style. 2406

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
A: The pour is a murky reddish-purple color with a minimal rose colored head.
S: A fantastic aroma of grapes and must along with a wonderful acidity and yeasty barnyard funk character.
T: The flavor is similarly fantastic with plenty of lactic acidity to go along with sweet and sour grapes. The oak and Brett offer up some nice tannins and funk as well.
M: The beer is mildly carbonated with a dry finish and a medium body.
D: Possibly the best Cantillon beer Iíve had to date (yes, even better than Blabaer and Crianza). Iíd pick up another one of these any day!

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
2002 bottled. Reddish pink color, firm head. Typical Cantillon aroma. Oak, lemon and sone honey. A hint of grapes, but certainly not very apparent. The grapes are really there in the flavor. Rubber, oak, and grapefruit. Honey, some yoghurt. A gentle sourness in a fine lambic with a vinous character. Not the best Cantillon there is, but still a great beer.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: SEP 5, 2012 Bottle. Pours a hazy, maroon-ruby with a fine, off-white head. Pungent, sour aroma with some ripe fruit notes. Very sour flavor rife with cherries and grapes, along with strong acidity and mild funkiness. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Finishes with mild sweetmess and lip-puckering sourness. Very good stuff. (4.0)
Bottle shared at Craft Beer Co. Sunday Tasting, thanks to Matt. Beautiful red-purple pour with a light, pink head. So fresh itís scary. Grape character is there but mild. Medium sweet flavor. Mild sweat. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Crisp but mellow sour finish. Just unreal drinkable. So refreshing. (4.4)

Bottled: Reddish coloured. Hazy. Light reddish head. Wood, sourness, light barnyard and loads of berries in the nose. Flavour is quite sour with a light sweet touch to balance. Quite acidic and dry. Raspberries notable. Ends on a very dry fruity sournote. Quite drinkable and interesting.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rosť lambic with a light cherry and lactic acid aroma. Dry cherries in mouth with strong sour notes, very puckering and definitely classic. Rich and complex, with cheese-like qualities. Medium bodied. Sampled at Quintessence Cantillon 2005.
