Bottle at C-Bus 6: This one hurt the bank account, but oh was it worth it. Pours a golden purple, with a white-pinkish head. Aroma, of grapes, some funk, and sourness. Flavor, dry grapes, a sharp tartness, and quite sour, vinous, with a soft sourness on the finish. Really nice and balanced though, really a great beer. Glad I splurged.

Jul 22, 2008 On tap at Belmont Station puckerfest. Pours darker red with a soft white/pink head that falls fast. This had a quick touch of sweetness, more so than any other Cantillon I can think of at the moment, red grape lends a nice taste leading into the sour and acidic finish. Woody and dry finish with a sourness that is fairly mild for Cantillon.

Jul 22, 2008 On tap at Belmont Station’s Puckerfest 2008--$8 for 25 cl, but kind of worth it--Poured a hazy magenta body with a small fizzy pink head. Taste of sour cherries and grapes that burst up the nose. Acidic with a nice body and great mouthfeel. Another terrific sour from Cantillon.

Jul 21, 2008 Bottle. Lovely reddish white thick rocky head. Fair display of lacework. Pale reddish Merlot grape color. Aroma was grapes, wood, horse blanket, mild fruit, quite vinous over the palate. Medium to full bodied with an average carbonation and very dry texture. Moderated to heavy acidic with good counter sweetness. Lingering grape and sour ending. Very nice!

Jul 20, 2008 Bottle. Hazy reddish colour with a medium slightly pinkish head. Rich arom and taste of classic lambic with sweet fruity notes. sweeter than expected, but still a very good beer.

Jul 10, 2008 Bottle at Ealing Beer Festival 2008. Thanks to Maria/Renffisch for this one. Hazy raspberry colour with thin pink head. Lambic farmyard aroma, some red wine grape. I mean I try to like Cantillon beers, but they are just too acidic, very good lemon and some red wine cherry fruit flavuor, but too acidic. Does have nice cherry aftertaste though and extraordinary farmyard/acidity.
