On tap at Map Rom- Chicago. Appearance is a little light-- looks like wine. I prefer something a touch darker and richer. Aroma and palate are almost pure wine. It’s good-- but tastes like a barrel aged wine. I like Grand Cru, but this is a bit too winey for my tastes.

Oct 4, 2008 A murky beer with a rose colour. Aroma os fresh and with intense, dirty and musty notes. Otherwise the fruity notes from the grapes. The taste is very fruitful with heaps of grapes - the merlot really shows through! It ends sour and cleansing. Great beer!

Oct 4, 2008 330 ml bottle. Pours a beautiful ruby red color, much like a pinot noir aside from the off-white head. Sour fruity aroma. The taste follows the aroma, with some aromatics reminscent of white wine. Different and good.

Sep 20, 2008 Smells of two week old ribena... that’s been in the sun... rubbish. Might be 30% and capable of flooring you in a pint... i don’t care... beer should not be made of grapes... end of. - Emily (self confessed non-beer aficionado... sorry.)

Sep 15, 2008 Bottle, 2005 vintage. Clear reddish brown/pink with a little white head. Vinous aromas with notes of flowers, fruit and some mushrooms. Flavours of sour fruit, raspberries and oak.

Sep 13, 2008 Stunning luminous plum skin red, abundant fine pink head. That’s pretty! Dry wooly cinnamon, candied apples, salty dessert-island driftwood. Restrained mineral sourness with elements of green apples, raspberries and grapeskin. Refreshingly delicate but with a nice fullness. Beautiful.
