COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Vigneronne is a blending muscat grapes and lambic, the brewers and beer merchants produced the "druivenlambik" (grapes lambic). White grapes soaked in lambic. The fructose, which abounds in these fruits, enables us to make a beer which is more mellow than the Gueuze or the other fruit beers. The spontaneous fermentation, the ageing in the barrels for several years and the addition of grapes make it a distant cousin of certain white wines. Changed name from Druivenlambik in 1987.

Bottle. Pours hazy apricot orange with rapidly settling white head and no lace. Aroma is quite funky, barnyard, horse blanket, oaky and vinegar. On draft at the trappist. The acidity is on the high side, musty grape notes, green apple aroma, bright lemony acidity. This is a tasty beer, but a touch harsh.

Fresh 75cl bottle. Pours cloudy golden with a white head. Aroma is grapes, citrus, acidic, some wood, plums and brett. Moderate sour and light to moderate sweet. Very deep, compex flavour. Smells incredibly good. The moderate sourness, wild yeast and fruitiness combined is very well done. Compared to the 3 fonteinen fruit lambics, my opinion is less fruitiness and more lambic. Not necessarily a bad thing, just different. I’m just glad I have another 3 glasses of this one to enjoy. More fruit in the finish than in the aroma. Medium bodied with slick texture. Great stuff.
