Commercial Description:
Vigneronne is a blending muscat grapes and lambic, the brewers and beer merchants produced the "druivenlambik" (grapes lambic). White grapes soaked in lambic. The fructose, which abounds in these fruits, enables us to make a beer which is more mellow than the Gueuze or the other fruit beers. The spontaneous fermentation, the ageing in the barrels for several years and the addition of grapes make it a distant cousin of certain white wines.

Hazy peachy golden pour with thin white ring around the glass. Highly acidic nose, some rubberiness. white grapes, a little tariness. Super sour up front, burnt rubber again and grapes. Lingering tartness. Very tasty.

Bottle - 750ml. Hazy blond body with low carbonation and a thin white bubbly/foamy head. Strong hoppy aroma with fruity hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries green apple, citrusy, and flowery notes. Ends with a long sour finish. Very good Lambic.

[Bought at UTO-beer, Borough Market, London.] Acid pale-yellow look with fluffy offwhite head. Aroflavor of grapefruit, real grapes (muscat maybe), sure acid, dryness, souryeast, grapepeel ending up with a beautiful finish. Fantastic beer!

Hazy orange, fluffy white head that goes quickly to a thick ring. Nose of heavy citric acid, barn, sulfur/egg. A touch of sweet grape brightens the flavor to go along with some lemon, egg, barn, and dust. Very fizzy, sparkling, but a little short. Flavor is the highlight, very sweet balance. Outside of that, this is standard Cantillon geuze goodness.

2003 - Aroma of doughy yeast, grapes and lemon soap. Flavor is very tart and mouth wateringly sour. Grape and lemon is their most sour form. Palate is pucker up. Very nice.

Hazy, golden with a tiny white head. Apple and grape tones. Balanced sourness, with a lot of fruit. Medium body with a dry finish.

A nose of apples and grape. The taste is of vinegar, apple, citrus and soap. It’s tart and so sour that my nostrils dilated. More extreme than tasty, really.

Aroma of apple and grapes. The apperance is clear amber with visable carbonation. The flavor is extremly acidicy and dry. An extrem beer that is more interesting than tasty.
