Vigneronne is a blending muscat grapes and lambic, the brewers and beer merchants produced the "druivenlambik" (grapes lambic). White grapes soaked in lambic. The fructose, which abounds in these fruits, enables us to make a beer which is more mellow than the Gueuze or the other fruit beers. The spontaneous fermentation, the ageing in the barrels for several years and the addition of grapes make it a distant cousin of certain white wines. Changed name from Druivenlambik in 1987.

Heel lichtgeel, troebel. Ruikt zuur, zoals het hoort. Niet extreem zuur, wel lekker. Vrij neutraal voor een zuur bier. Beetje veel carbo.

Pale yellowish color with thin head. Moderate to highly carbonated. White grape aroma. Can be very sour in older bottles, but the newer vintage tends to be creamy and complex.

Pours a hazy light orange with a low white head. Aromas of funk, green grapes, green apples, oak, elderberry and gooseberry with farmhouse tones. Taste is earthy, funky and quite sour with hbo bitterness. Mouthfeel is dry and tart with medium carbonation. Very good.

3 oz pour at Hops & Pie. Hazy, pale, dull orange appearance with a small head. Funky yeast, vinous notes and sour grapes in the aroma. Similar flavor, funky, dank, fruity and mildly tart with dull carbonation and white wine finish. Good, but a little underwhelming from this brewery.

0.75 l bottle from ’De Bierkoning’, bottled in November 2015. Hazy, golden yellow with a thin, fluffy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sourish-fruity, moderately funky aroma of lemon, white grapes, rhubarb, oak and some leather. Sour, fruity and moderately funky taste of lemon, white grapes, green apples, rhubarb and oak, followed by a medium long, tart finish. Thin to medium body, spritzy and rather astringent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Indeed quite mellow compared to other Cantillon produces I’ve had so far, less sour and less wild, but that lets it stand out a bit. Maybe also not that complex, but balance and drinkability are top-notch.

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2016 Tap at Akkurat. Hazy orange color with small white head. Lightly tart citrus and oak aroma and taste, some grapes present but they are somewhat subtle. 9-4-8-5-16 2013 bottle at Himmeriget. A little bit dustier than the tap sample, grape, citrus and hay blends together very well. Solid. 9-4-9-5-16
