More fruity than other cantillon’s ( at least of those i’ve already sampled ), and less funky. Woody in mouth as in the nose, very dry and sour. voota (761), Melbourne, Australia
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 3, 2007 Slightly hazed light golden with pretty much no head. Subdued aroma, slightly like a cask of dry sunnyvale white wine (not that I ever drink it). Otherwise there is a touch of vanilla and some definite tannic notes. Light fluffy mouthful, sharp but not sour. Flavours run a different line to the aroma, musky apricot and some tannins again. Quick sharp finish. Interesting stuff, but not my favorite from cantillon. moejuck (1165), Ohio, USA

The taste is definitely sour, lemony, and yeasty. Not the most sour I’ve had, but probably a out of 10 in that department. Oak flavors balance the funkiness just enough to make this a nice treat. mgumby10 (1850), Jupiter, Florida, USA

Pours a pale orange color, with a small, quickly disappearing white head. Smells of traditional Cantillon funk, very acidic and sour smelling, to go along with some fruity notes. Just plain sour. One thing this brewetry is, is consistent. The familiar Cantillon sourness just attacks me from all angles. \Hardly even notice the grapes or fruits that are brewed with this beer. If you like sour, this is for you. If you dont, run and hide. LeopoldStoch (201), Green, Ohio, USA

Poured a burnt yellow hazy golden color. Lots of funky sourness in the aroma with the infamous horseblanket and wet hay nose too. The flavor is very tart and sour mixed with some zesty lemon hints and an appearance by the muscat grapes...showing through very unripened young tart grapes. I certainly could not drink an entire 750 of this to myself, as it is very overpowering, but it is indeed good stuff! BeerVirgin72 (778), Pataskala, Ohio, USA

I will start by saying I do not care for this style in the least. It smelled like feet! I swear...The taste was simply sour/vinegar. Although I do not understand the appeal of this type of beer, as it warmed, and I continued to sip, I suppose I understood that it offered a uniqe flavor that I suppose, in time, I could develope a taste for. Please dont use my rating as a guideline, as it was VERY enthusiastically recevied by the more seasoned members of my group. Just not my thing. Sorry! sliffy (1966), Columbus, Ohio, USA
