Commercial Description:
Vigneronne is a blending muscat grapes and lambic, the brewers and beer merchants produced the "druivenlambik" (grapes lambic). White grapes soaked in lambic. The fructose, which abounds in these fruits, enables us to make a beer which is more mellow than the Gueuze or the other fruit beers. The spontaneous fermentation, the ageing in the barrels for several years and the addition of grapes make it a distant cousin of certain white wines.

750 ml bottle. A hazy orange beer with a small, white and fast disappearing head. Wonderful aroma of wood, fruits with the classical sourness. The flavour has a big tartness, woody and lemony notes with also some grapes. Medium body and very dry. Another great beer from Cantillon, refreshing and complex.

Sampled during the First Annual Stone Sour Fest. Sour acidic aromas. Hazy apricot color. Flavor was muted with just some acidity behind the sourness. Rather sweet on the finish. Very good.

750 ml bottle from Holiday Wine Cellar. Honey yellow with no head. Aggressive sour aroma. Acidic sour wine vinegar taste with a dry oaky finish. Not for the faint of heart.

Bottle. Pours gold, white head. Aroma is tangy, funky, musty, salty, some earthiness. Flavor is tangy sour fruit, salt, cheese. There is definitely a white grapes presence underneath it all.

Aroma: formidable, sourish, vinous, brett. Summery, nettles, acrid soap, hay or reed... cask, citrusy.
Appearance: grotesque, mango yellow, cloudy with some white, quicklyfading head.
Flavour: sourish, very fresh, soft, unusually beery, wheat, grapes, some milkyness, acrid bitterness back on the tongue. Slightly of golden grapefruit.
Palate: very soft, milky, lovely, thin...
