Aroma was white grapes, musty, acidic with the usual nut-check barnyard aroma. Flavors were suprisingly soft for a Cantillon, with the muscat grapes demanding attention with the other flavors bouncing around. It has the usual Cantillon calling card flavors but it’s not quite as mouth stripping as say..the regular gueuze. Very enjoyable and worth every penny. gunnfryd (3571), Kristiansand, Norway

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 12, 2006 Clear yellow body with a very small white head. Aroma was that of a typical lambic beer with barnyard and all that good stuff. That’s where the fun stopped for me. To say that this beer is vinous and fruity would be the biggest understatement since Noah said it looked like rain. This is as much a white wine as it is a lambic. Very delicate, a bit sour, full of white grapes and cheesy yeast. This is an original well brewed beer but it’s not for me. pantani (1896), Salinas, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 10, 2006 Rating #900- body is a foggy orange gold, with no head present. Aroma is very tart, with lemon, salt, and a white wine type aroma. Very tart taste, you can catch the grapes lightly after the initial taste, has a destinct tang that I usually don’t catch with Lambic’s yngwie (4926), Kristiansand, Norway
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 10, 2006 Bottled at Horsens Beerfestival. Yellow-orange, unclear, with a minimal white head. The aroma is sour, white wine-like and with notes of barnyard. Lemony and sour flavor. The mouthfeel is thin and flat as well as astringent and palate-cleaning. Intensely sour, nice beer. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 4, 2006 Bottle. Cloudy yellow brown color with a large head that quickly disappears. Tart, grape (vindruer), yeasty aroma. Extremely sour. Grape was detectable only as a sour, underripe grape juice aftertaste.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 2, 2006 Cloudy light gold with light orange highlights and a thin white head. Nose-tingling sourness and distinct lambic character in the aroma with only a hint of fruit. Dry and bracingly tart--not particularly vinous or grapey--the fruit character comes through very neutrally--mainly as a sidenote to the lambic fermentation character (which is itself quite powerful). Light body with a lot of acidity provides for a quick, clean finish with multi-layered sourness.
