Cloudy yellow with a small pale head. Aroma is sour funk, citrus, sour plums, crab apple, grape skins. Nicely balanced on the palate with some good background character behind the sour. Taste is sour plums, lemon zest, grape juice, hint of honey. Very enjoyable.

Suutuntuma on pirskahtelevan hiilihappoinen. Kokonaisuutena loistava kesäjuoma ja paremman puoliskon sanoin: "Ihanaa!". Parhaita lambiceita, mitä olen juonut.

Another great Cantillon beer for me. In this one i love the dry effervescent mouthfeel. Sourness is medium with pleasant wine tones and a bit more mellowness throughout. Great appearance too, light and brilliant.

#900!! Bottle at home with my wife. Pour is hazy orange in appearance with a small white head that quickly dissipated. Cheese, funk, white grapes, pears, green apples, sour fruit, wood, dust, and light vinegar in the aroma. Taste is huge sour, lacto, lemon peel, biscuit, muscat, white wine, green apples, funk, and horse blanket with a tart, lingering dry finish. Medium body with soft carbonation. Huge sourness in this Lambic and definitely one of the more acetic loons I have had, but still very well-crafted as expected.

bottle split with 77 ships/ siebeltje and other guys @ cantillon.
didnt expect to like this, but it was the onley intresting thing i hadnt drank that was available there.
smell kinda reminds me of fou foune ??? ( accept no peaches of course taste is first of all sour, good carbo, dry, soflty and very very drinkable. i dont get real grapes in this, what i do get is a fou-foune-like / geuze thing. maybe its cause the bottle was 1 year old and most of the grapes has gone out? either way, very nice, way better than expected

750ml bottle, split with my wife. Pours a bright, light amber color with no real head to speak of. Aroma is lightly funky, a little oak, some fruit. Medium on the palate with soft, smooth carbonation. Flavor is lightly sour, with a nice fruity sweetness, definitely sweeter than most Cantillon Lambics, wine, a little funk, with a light oaky, sour finish. Very good balance of sweet and sour.

Vintage 2011
Clear golden colour, reminds of white wine. Fine white head. Aroma of grapes, quite tart, light sickly, sour, white wine, very fruity. Quite sour flavour, light fruity sweet touch. Tart citrus finish, muscat and light funk.
Great little Cantillon. Was surprised I never actually entered a rating for this one yet. Could’ve sworn I had. Ah, well, now it is here anyway.
(75cL bottle shared @ the brewery. Pre-preZwanze-tasting visit)

2005 vintage, thanks Dan! Soured grapes give way to yeasty funk and lactic acid. More puckering than fruity on the palate these days. As with most Cantillon fruit lambics, this is a totally different beast after a few years in the bottle, and I love it both ways.
4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Gerbeer (890) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 1, 2012
750 ml bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy yellow/amber with medium head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of yeast, green wood, citrus, and perhaps the muscat grapes. Sour but not overly so for a gueuze/lambic. Fruity flavors - lemons and grapes. Nice carbonation. Snappy and refreshing.
