Commercial Description:
Vigneronne is a blending muscat grapes and lambic, the brewers and beer merchants produced the "druivenlambik" (grapes lambic). White grapes soaked in lambic. The fructose, which abounds in these fruits, enables us to make a beer which is more mellow than the Gueuze or the other fruit beers. The spontaneous fermentation, the ageing in the barrels for several years and the addition of grapes make it a distant cousin of certain white wines.

Bottle. The aroma is quite fruity, sour and light yeasty. The white head is fizzy and disappears fast. The body is cloudy and light orange. The taste is fruity and sour, the middle part and the finish is a little bit sweeter, but finally it gets sour again. The body is medium strong with a lively carbonation and dry. The finish is really astringent. A very good beer.

Very incredible beer. Aroma you can smell from across the table and tartness that is nicely mellowed by the oak. This is like a finely aged white wine, not like the over-barriqued Californian chardonnays.

Sample at brewery. Pours yellow with a small head. Thin lacing. Nose is tart, acidic and hints of green apples. Cidery like. Taste is cidery, mild tart and fruits. Acidic but not too much. Some sweetness.

Bottle at Cantillon in Brussels. Nice hazy orangish-golden color with a white head. Aroma of white grapes, funk, barrel, and a hint of sweet malt. Flavor is champagne, muscat, light unripe fruits, and funk. Sour in general but slightly sweet on the finish. Fairly dry on the palate. One of the best fruit lambics I’ve had.

Don’t know if I ever going to be a fan of lambics. Orange colour and unclear. White head, mostly diminishing. Acidic aroma, sulfur too. Flavor is heavy to harsh acidic. Dry texture. A bit astringent.

1997 Bottling provided by Dickinsonbeer. Pours a hazy amber with a nice white head. Smells funky and restrained with some wine grapes shining through. Tastes dry and perfumy with a nice tarte funky acidic quality on the finish.

Cloudy yellow. No head. Smelll is tart and grape. Taste is funk and lemon. Apparantly I thought this was pretty decent.

Bottle shared by Andreasen11. Pouring a hazy yellow with a nice small head. The aroma is quite "sharp" with acidic, humid cellar, grape and dim grapes notes. The flavour is very dry with notes of grape, wood, humid cellar and acidic grapes with a slightly sweet hint (dry white wine alike) Nicely balanced.
