scrizzz (1252), kirkland, Washington, USA Jun 24, 2009 Oh boy. Smells like apple vinegar and a bit of clover honey. Clear still dirty gold. Quickly tart, fades to maybe a little peach skin. Finishes clean and dry, almost like nothing at all. Seems fresh or immature. IrishBoy (2686), Bakersfield, California, USA Jun 22, 2009 750 ml bottle shared by furiousdman. Thanks Derek! Nose is light horseblanket tartness, white wine notes, and old oak. Hazy yellow orange with a small white head. Flavor is nicely tart with minor funk and pepperiness. Pipper (226), Ohio, USA Jun 20, 2009 Oh my my my, sign me up again and again for this one. Pours a transparent light blonde and flat. Aroma: tart, boozy peaches/mullberries, reminds me of my childhood and our family orchard that grows white lady peaches around late August. It’s almost like a beer version of when my mom dunks a chunk of our white lady peaches into a class of white wine/champagne and lets it soak until the end. The flavor mimics the aroma but I mostly just want to shove my nose in this for a solid hour and leave it at that because the aroma alone has captured me. BitchesBrew (710), Berkeley, California, USA Jun 19, 2009 [750ml] Hazy golden color, with some very interesting foam-- almost chunky. Aroma is very typical Cantillon, providing plenty of funkiness. Flavors blend mellow acidity with nice fruit ester presence. Complex finish.. I agree with other raters, this definitely has a slight nutty, earthy quality. djtimeless (170), Florida, USA Jun 14, 2009 Pours out hazy gold with little bubbles. Smells fruity and funky. Taste is fruity lightly sour. The flavor of white grape and the Cantillon funk is great. Some wood and sour notes are present. Nice smooth mellow lambic. Very good. eManu (174), Brussels, Belgium Jun 13, 2009 Pours a hazy gold with a small heavy white head. Aromas of lambics and fruits. Flavors are sour and mild, fruity and abricot. This has almost no carbonation and is easy and pleasant to drink. Madsnp (611), Odense C, Denmark Jun 9, 2009 Bottle@Cantillon, Brussels. Cloudy golden with a nice egg white head. Aromas of grapes, pear, a bit musty and some wood. Taste is mild, fruity, bread and some sourness. Very smooth and easy drinkable Cantillon. m4rest88 (216), Beverly Hills, California, USA Jun 4, 2009 orangey hue with no head.
