Vigneronne is a blending muscat grapes and lambic, the brewers and beer merchants produced the "druivenlambik" (grapes lambic). White grapes soaked in lambic. The fructose, which abounds in these fruits, enables us to make a beer which is more mellow than the Gueuze or the other fruit beers. The spontaneous fermentation, the ageing in the barrels for several years and the addition of grapes make it a distant cousin of certain white wines. Changed name from Druivenlambik in 1987.

First beer poured for my 28th birthday. What better way to reward yourself for making it another year on this planet than with Cantillon? Vigneronne pours a hazy golden orange, with a fingers of soapy looking white head. Nose is all muscat grapes and it is spectacular....probably the highlight of the beer for me. White wine and grape skin with some hints of lemon and just the slightest acetobacter. Muscat/white wine grapes arent as prominent in the flavor, but they are still one of the main themes. It’s focused particularly on the grape skin and lemony lactic acidtity. Mouthfeel is light, carbonation is low to moderate, good sharp acidity, and a moderate finish. Another great fruit lambic from Cantillon. Having had this a few times, I think I actually prefer it aged as opposed to fresh. It loses some of the gentle grape character as it ages, but it becomes incredibly more sour.

Bottle from Cantillon Brewery. Pour is murky yellow/orange with a large white head. Aroma and flavor of green apple, lemon zest, and funk, with a slightly acidic finish.

Very summery and mild lambic with nice twist. Grape seeds, grape stems, ripe grapes, bit citrus. Quite dry with moderate to intense sourish acidic finish, some sweetness in background. Interesting and very refreshing long sipping brew.

May be old bottle but it’s supposed to get better with age, no Brett no real tartness just stale olive oil and woody cheese. Just not what I am used to from cantillon. Will try again to re rate.

Bottle split with brother. Pours a light orange/lemon color with a white head. Aromas of funky lemons and horse cheese. Taste is decidedly tart. Flavors of bacterial horse vagina, grapevine chewiness. Yes. This beer is good.

Bottle, 75cL. Home. An orange yellow opaque beer with a medium white head ; poor retention. Aroma of smoke (nose), wood, fruits acid, barnyard. Light sweet, medium dry sour after a sharp beginning ; really drinkable ; great balance. Light to medium body, average texture, average to soft carbonation, sour lasting fruity finish. Overall, delicious ! Very fruity, nice sourness & very drinkable.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; hazy golden yellow pour with a quickly dissipating bubbly white head, aroma has apple and lemon rind, taste has some tart grape action, straw, lemon zest, some hints of grain, damn fine.
