Commercial Description:
Vigneronne is a blending muscat grapes and lambic, the brewers and beer merchants produced the "druivenlambik" (grapes lambic). White grapes soaked in lambic. The fructose, which abounds in these fruits, enables us to make a beer which is more mellow than the Gueuze or the other fruit beers. The spontaneous fermentation, the ageing in the barrels for several years and the addition of grapes make it a distant cousin of certain white wines.

The color is a clear orange and it has a small white head. The aroma is sour of grapefruit combined with nutmeg - a very fresh aroma. The flavor is sour of grapefruit and lemon with a lovely sour dry woody end.

(Bottle 75 cl) Beautiful, hazy orangey golden with a surprising head which collapses rather fast though. Also a surprising fizzyness. Typical refined gueuze flavours without many traces of the Moscatel-grapes. Oh, did I forget to mention, that this is very dry and extremely sour? Well, it’s a Cantillon goddammit... 270601

Sampled draught at Akurat, Stockholm, Sweden.
Pale orange. Acidic, just like the regular gueuze, but also with a big punch of tannines and muscat grapes The grapes only add a hint of fruitiness. The draught version seem more balanced than the bottled and adds a bit of honey. Still, this is sour like pure acid, and I love it (even if my stomach does not...)

37.5 cL bottle, cheers Jeppe! Pours hazy to murky orange with a fully diminished white head. Classic dry Cantillon barnyard aroma with a light citric touch. Flavour is nicely balanced between fruity grapes notes and a solid acidic/citric brett dryness. Tart fruity flavour following with a solid wooden note. Nice citric bite in the finish.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow brown color with a large head that quickly disappears. Tart, grape (vindruer), yeasty aroma. Extremely sour. Grape was detectable only as a sour, underripe grape juice aftertaste.

Bottle. Nice, refreshing, acidic/citric, earthy aroma. Unclear golden/orange colour, no head. Quite acidic flavour, going on aggressive. A little sweet. Some earth. Slight yeast aftertaste. Good.

Bottled. Apricotty orange colour, no head. Cantillonish sourness in aroma with weak hints of grape. Sourness and grape on flavour. (7 2 7 3 11).

Bottled. Hazy orange colour with almost non-existant head. Aroma is sour wood, with vanilla and some whitewineish notes. Flavour is much the same along with some sour berries added. Excellently balanced. 8 3 8 5 16.
