Vigneronne is a blending muscat grapes and lambic, the brewers and beer merchants produced the "druivenlambik" (grapes lambic). White grapes soaked in lambic. The fructose, which abounds in these fruits, enables us to make a beer which is more mellow than the Gueuze or the other fruit beers. The spontaneous fermentation, the ageing in the barrels for several years and the addition of grapes make it a distant cousin of certain white wines. Changed name from Druivenlambik in 1987.

(Cantillon Vigneronne) Bottle 750 ml at home, served into a Cantillon tasting glass, vintage 2014. ABV 5% Bright yellow colour on the body, nice haze in it, with almost one finger of white thin head on top, collapsing fast. Aroma of white grapes, quite fruity. Very inviting. Taste is nicely sour, with white grapes, peach, again quite fruity, old wood. Medium body with soft carbonation, pretty tart on the palate. Great.

Pours light hazy straw. Nice white foam on the edges of the glas. The nose has apples and lemon, some hay, some candy apple, yellow raisin and even a hint of apricot. Awsome nose Taste is light fruity with elderflover sweetness initially turning mineral and turns lemon bitter. The hint of fruit in this lambic is brilliant. Mouthcoating and long lasting, dry aftertaste. I got maximum sourness and acidity in the aftertaste which was great. Love this one!

Bottle at Frank’s. Thank you whoever brought. Nice big white grapey sour. Tons of acidity, maybe it’s just the other sours we’ve had before this one but pretty intense. They’re starting to blend together at this point but I’d like it on its own for sure.

Sampled @The Festival in Florida. Aroma: loads of green sour apples and lots of acidity notes. App: hazy straw, no head. Taste and palate: light body, soft carbonation but tingling, dry sour finish. Overall: awesome. Great palate. So dry that I want to get another sip to quench my thirst.

A+ the white wine grapes with a lambic base is one of best combos in my opinion. A guy named Vinnie in Cali does a great job too. The grapes add a perception of sweetness to balance out tart. The light oak and funk was as well perfectly balanced with the sourness. A stranded island beer!

750ml bottle. Straw gold with white head at first, then quickly nothing. Aroma is full of white grape, lemon, melon rind and the signature Cantillon wildness. Taste is sour, juicy, quenching. Balanced as usual. Great from start to finish.

Draught. Pours a yellow golden color with a smallish white head on there. Nose has some light fruit, but a lot of acetone to it. Taste is sour and fruity, though very dry, and a bit of wine to it.
