Frisk lett fruktig lukt med preg av lys malt, frukt, sitrusskal, syregras, svovel, gras. Frisk lett syrlig smak med preg av lys malt, sitron, bruspulver, sitrusskal, syregras, gras. Middels bitterhet som set litt. God.

Pour into glass on Zwanze Day 2012 at Crooked Stave, hazy yellow-golden pour with thin white head, aroma brought big notes of funk, tart rhubarb in there with a celery note, hints of tart berries, lots of cheese, funky barnyard, straw and cracker, some citrusy lemon and yogurt come through. Taste is amazing as well, huge barnyard, cheesy funk, sweaty socks, goes into horsey notes into berry, rhubarb, celery, some citrus, lemon, slight lactic notes, finishing with more funk, nice and tart, more sweet berry notes.

Draught at alewife NYC. Aroma is light wild tart funk and quite grainy. Pours a hazy grain color almost still. Flavor is very dry wood kinda dead yeast and cheese rind. Barn funk. Feel is woody watery and dry. Not nearly so into it as I thought I would be

On tap at Avenue Pub for Zwanze Day 2012. Pours a cloudy orange with small frothy white head that leaves nice sticky lacing. The aroma is a strong rhubarb and funk. Thin mouthfeel with nice rhubarb flavor and light tartness. Really enjoyed this one.

2012 Bottle in the wicker basket only marked "Z". Slightly hazy amber pour with a bubbly white head. Big sour aroma with a hint of funky wet wool. Very tart flavor but with some fruitiness like it has grapes in it. Short finish. Bold but not overpowering. Fantastic.

Tasted @ Zwanze day 2012 (tap) and @ Zwanze day 2013 (bottle) - Appearance: Amber, light copper tint. No head - Aroma: Acidic and hay - Flavour: Sour, light and simple fruity flavour - Overall: High tart, light body. No carbonation.

2012 version, bottled at the brewery on Zwanze Day 2013, shared with 77ships. Pretty gold color with orange, nice head at first. Funky nose with rhubarb, dust, leather, nice balance. spicy rhubarb flavor, with lemon, dust, quite sour, but not all the way. Very nice, practically balanced. Lots of citrus.

Amazing rhubarb smell taste is alot of rhubarb really a great beer!

Tart red fruit, though not detectable as rhubarb because the flavor of rhubarb is kind of naturally overlapped with the flavor of a lambic in the first place, highish carbonation level, funk more detectable on the old bottling versus in your face sourness on the new. Very good but lacks the oomph of a LP Kriek or St. Lamvinus.
