How will a high fermentation beer ferment in the environment of a Lambic brewery where wild yeasts pervail? This old style white beer give you the answer. Ingredients: malt(60%), wheat(35%), oats(5%), hop (exact wording on bottle)

Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: Small white foamy head on top of a hazy yellow colored beer. Aroma is mainly if not only oak, white oak... With a sprinkle of citrus. Flavour is mainly oak with some lemon/citrus tones, light tart, light yeasty, some grapes and a hint of something wood chalky. Easy yet difficult! Delicious beer! Aftertaste is a mix of oak, grapes, light tart and some yeast. Low carbo, light spicy tart creamy mouthfeel, medium to fuller bodied and a light creamy light dry texture. Amazingly tasty, seems so simple yet complexity lays in the woody notes.

Inte det minsta påverkad av subjektiva ting.... Nice. På moeder lambic. Har snudd på aprikos i doften. Högst otippat. Intensiv smak av tunn kall geuze, men väldigt tunn i kropp. Alla smaker är puts väck på nån sekund. Tungt kryss dock.

Bottle split by myself at Jack Back March ’14 tasting, 06/03/14 from an IP trade cheers to Kevin in Ghent. Hazed orange amber with a moderate white spotting and edgework. Nose is tangy dark fruit, bitter orange, menthol notes, dank woody tones, damp straw, light spice. Taste comprises lemon rind, light spice, straw, orange pithy notes, light musty wood. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, tangy citric sherbet notes in the close. Decent enough but no ’wow’ factor.

Bottle shared in London - many, many thanks to Colin for this doozy. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a foamy white head. Decent snout, some tangy hay, spritely lemon. Light sweet with dried sweat, lemon rind, a bit of bitter hay. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Moderate sweetness to finish, definitely some age, slight sugary wheat, old lemon, citrus rind. OK.

Bottle at Avenue Pub. Pours a clear yellow with small frothy white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is rubber, funk, and dill. Thin mouthfeel with strong funk and dill pickle flavor with nice lingering tart finish.

free bottle share @ antwaerps bierhuiske pours fuzzy yellow, small white head. smell is lambic, together with this full, grainy(?? ) ness. low carbo, sour background, but very ’sweet’ up front / tastes more like a comploex lambic, than a geuze . dont get much of the ’white’ character though ...

750 mL bottle shared by Travlr at the Baltimore Late Late Summer Gathering, 9/14/13. Pours a hazy orange color with a thin fizzy off-white head. Fair head retention. Herbal, spicy, dusty, thyme, dry citrus, tropical fruits, mild dry funk. That’s the aroma, yo. The taste is wheat, tart dry citrus and tropical fruits, peppery notes, herbal notes, my olive in the very back end. Medium bodied, well balanced, lingering tartness. Excellent.
