How will a high fermentation beer ferment in the environment of a Lambic brewery where wild yeasts pervail? This old style white beer give you the answer. Ingredients: malt(60%), wheat(35%), oats(5%), hop (exact wording on bottle)

Bottle at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, pours a cloudy light golden with a medium white head. Aroma of barnyard funk, some citrus zest, and some wild yeast. Flavour is quite wild tasting, with notes of brett, some mild white wine notes, wheat and light fruits. Not very lambic-like, which is a change for Cantillon, and One of the lightest beers they’ve done. Great stuff, but misses the complexity of many of their other beers.

Poured a clear golden color with a large frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate to heavy soft malt and wild yeast aroma. Medium to full body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sour flavor with a medium to heavy sour & sweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid beer for style.

Bottle shared at WoSF, 2013. It pours clear golden with a thick white head. The nose is strongly menthol notes, herbal, ice-tea, wheat, peach, nectarine, wood and earth. The taste is lemon, ice-tea, tart granny smith apple, hay, wood and home-made lemonade with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty unusual...smells rather minty. Interesting, but far from their best!

Bottle, Zwanze Day at Churchkey. Pours hazy gold with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is funky, sour grapes and apples, loads of phenols mixing it up, and light hay malt. The aroma is really complex. Flavor is sour grapes, light apple and pear notes, phenols and funky yeast dancing around, and straw and hay malt with a dry finish. Acidity is rather balanced in this beer. Light body, low warmth and carbonation.
