Draught at Pikkulintu. Pours murky brown dark orange amber with minimum head. Notes of vinegar, sour, apples, very bitter at the beginning, floral. Taste is funky, bitter, sour. Kind of weird. Does not seem like an trippel.

Pours a dark Amber color and the nose is berries and dark fruit. Taste is not very tart; mostly sweet and grainy.

Bottle @ cantillon. Pours hazy amber with a white head. Aroma of green tea, oxidized hops, herbal, like an old dipa, barley, dried fruits. It’s a mess.

Bottle at Cantillon. Hazy dark golden with a lasting white head. Malty aroma with herbal and funky notes. Malty flavour with a little caramel, fruit and funk. At the same time hoppy bitter and lambic tart, and it’s not working out well.

Amber colour. Nice white head. Apples, raisins, sherry, muscat wine, strong black tea in the aroma. Vinegar at first, reminds tea which is made from roseberries, hints of sherry, bitter, white wine finish.

Bottle @ Cantillon 15/5-15. Fruity, dried fruity with some cheese, also brett. Dry finish with some bitterness.

At Cantillon. Clear copper with thin white head. White raisins, rye, light spices, basil, green leaves. Sour with syrupy sweetness and hoppy bitterness. A bit too many strong flavors in the palate. Body is thin to medium. Carbo is very low. The bitterness, sweetness and sourness are a bit struggling to go along well. The bitterness leaves a bit of a stale finish.

Bottle shared at Cantillon. Very slight hazy amber with off white head. Light sweet malts, caramel and soft rye notes. Green leaves, hay, light funk and herbs. Then there’s some white wine notes with white raisins, light peach and gooseberries. Light sweet, sour and bitter in almost equal amounts. Medium bodied with sparkly carbonation.

Vestergaard (1425) - Aarhus C, DENMARK - NOV 27, 2015
Bottle at Cantillon. Pours an almost clear amber with a small, off White head. Aroma has lots of caramel malts, dates, tartness and funk, vanilla, oak. Taste is sour, leathery, still fairly sweet and caramelish. Not very complex, but very different. Harsh and leathery. AVG. Carb, oily body. Not very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

@ Cantillon 15-10-30: Stor doft av trä. Smaken är inte alls syrlig, men med lite källartonar och torkat frukt.

Bottle at Cantillon. Hazy orange/amber with a white head. Aroma and taste of funk, oak, grapes, some caramel, berries and some hay. A bit bitter and with a rather sweet finish. A solid one
