3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draught at Pikkulintu. Pours murky brown dark orange amber with minimum head. Notes of vinegar, sour, apples, very bitter at the beginning, floral. Taste is funky, bitter, sour. Kind of weird. Does not seem like an trippel.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pour is dark orangish amber with a ruby note. Nose has a light berry fruit to it, some mushroom notes and a bit muddled. Light wood and a touch of vinegar ever so light. Taste is sweet up front, like a cherry but dirty. Mushroom faintly adding funk with an off flavor in the finish. Something chemically and slightly burnt and bitter. Body thins out in the finish slightly, extremely soft and delicate feel with gentle carbonation.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draught @ Ølbutikken, Istedgade 44, DK-1650 Copenhagen, Denmark.
Light light unclear medium amber orange colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate yeasty, grape, wood, light tart, maure notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet, light light acidic and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet fruity, apple pudding, light manure - farmyard, dry. IMO a bit like a young lambic with more alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sampled from bottle @ Cantillon: Served in a Cantillon Balloon glass:
Didn’t make notes, was just enjoying this beer and remember most important things anyways.
Medium to smaller sized thicker vast white head on top of an almost clear orange to amber ish colored beer.
Aroma was very nice. There were the typical Cantillon aromas like a good appearance of wild yeast, but also a nicely balanced malty backbone. Some chalk, hint of leaves and some funk.
The flavour also had the typical Cantillon tones: a lovely smooth and medium tartness, some wild yeast and a very light funky tone. Also some malts, chalk/light bark, light bitter, a good present wood tone and some malty sweetness.
Aftertaste was a nice mix of some tartness, light malty, some wild yeast, wood and some chalk.
Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, medium to more fuller bodied and a creamy texture.
I wasn’t sure what this beer would taste like and if it would even be any good. But I would love to see this beer brewed and bottled more often and not only sold at Cantillon. Guess it will never happen. Still, I can have my dreams too, right? I liked the beer. Well done! Not even a trace of alcohol and that with 8% ABV!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle shared at the brewery with kermis. Pours a clear light brownish beer with a creamy, small off white head on top. Aroma is fruity, apricots, oaks, vineous and some light, less sour Brett influences. Very lovely. Flavor is medium sweet with yeasty touches and very fruity. Incredible smooth mouthfeel and very easy drinkable. Alchohol is noticeable for sure, but not disturbing at all. Very nice brew!
