Bottle- pours a pale straw color with a fizzy head that fades to no real lacing. Mild fruity aroma with malt sweetness. Taste of malt sweetness and fruit. Mild bitterness and a sticky finish. Light body, smooth and bland. Just a cheaper Corona, with or without a pice of fruit added.

From a bottle. No where near as bad as I expected from the ratings. Not any worse than Corona.

A marvellous beer which accommodates any occasion. The rich flavour of beer and the pleasant after taste of beer is much appreciated. A far superior beer to its Mexican counterpart, the dreaded íCaronaí. Whilst many do not enjoy this beer as other ratings are sub par, it is important to remember the single most important factor, price. This marvellous Mexican fiesta of a beer can be enjoyed for $40 a carton, what is not to love. Before making your decision by reading other peoples most questionable opinions on this spectacular beverage, please try it for yourself, I can not guarantee your not will be perfect, but I can put my name on the fact that you will at least be in the company of a fine, fine beer, thankyou Xoxo Beerlover1997

Clear golden beer, small white head. Yeast aromas appear at the beginning, like barnyard, and leaves, after a while some sweet aromas of the malt are felt, but unluckily some of the yeast ones prevail. Sweet malt flavor, hop bitterness with an inadequate balance, and medium body making it unpleasant.

Bottle. Head is initially small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is light yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (cereal, grain, husks), with notes of creamed corn, DMS, and concrete. Flavor is moderately sweet, trace bitterness. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter, slightly unclean, husky. Light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. I decided to go with something exotic for review #6000. Itís 2014, am I right? Iím done fucking around. I really am. I mean, come on...I visited Lithuania last year. I hate to sound arrogant, but Iíve moved up to a certain elite level here, so I canít sit around sampling ordinary shit anymore. I need special shit. I need mystical shit. I need shit brewed by Aztec warriors, or at least someone with a cool accent. And perhaps the only other country that is bringing the noise with the same volume as Lithuania is...nope, not Bangladesh, not Burkina Faso...but El Salvador. "El Salvador?!", youíre saying. "Where the fuck is that, in Albania or something?" Nope, dumbass...itís in Guyana. "Who?" Get a frickiní map, dude...just look up Africa and follow the dots. Anyway, I had to special order an entire case online (not from Aztecs, sadly, but the invoice said the order was filled by someone named Aswan, so close enough), but I finally got it. Weíll get to the "how long should I cellar it?" kinds of questions later. Letís have a gander. Man, just look at this beautiful 16th century screen-printed bottle! Where am I, in a fucking time machine?! Hell yeah, dog! It even says "Pura Cerveza" right on it. For those who donít speak Latin, that means "Perfect Quality". Perfect. Think about that for a bit, let it sink in. "Perfect"...awww yeahhhh...stings, donít it? Take the pain, brother. The raw, worty Lithuanian character that Iíve become attached to is admittedly *close* to perfect, but you know what? Close donít cut it no more. Iím a beer geek, for fuckís sake. CANTINA. Thatís what Iím talking about. No cheap twist-off cap here, you gotta have one of those shark-shaped bottle openers to even get into this. You gotta have good taste too. Luckily I do, so Iím all up in this, you feel me? Itís in a clear bottle so you can see just how perfect the quality is, and also how much is left in there. Thatís pura pura, baby. But let me tell you, however much is left ainít enough for me. I need to get some more, so yíall just sit tight.

Found this in a Mexican restaurant in Newcastle, NSW. Wasnít expecting too much and it went fine with the food. Probably wouldnít search for this one again but it is drinkable with a bit of a bitter finish.

Clear 12oz bottle. Poured a clear piss yellow color with a very thin white top and minimal lacing. Surprisingly not a bad taste! Corn, malt, and straw. Very crisp but also very watery. Medium carb, incredibly thin body

Pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma is corn and adjunct. Taste is light sweet leading to a watery and uninspiring finish. Excuse the french, but this is fucking shit!

Bottle. Pours clear pale yellow with a small creamy white head that slowly dissipates with surprisingly nice lacing. Aroma is grain, urine, paint thinner, touch of acetone. Flavor is less gross than aroma, sweet corn syrupy, with grain, grass, and off notes as above. Not so good, but the lacing means a decent appearance score :)
