COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s been said that “Canada is the only country in the world that knows how to live without an identity.” This beer doesn’t help much with that crisis. From the fiercely irresponsible stereotypical image on the front of the can to the distinctly American style of the beer inside it – we’ve really made a mess of things. What have we done? Sorry.

a can from the LCBO, must admit the new "art" can caught my eye. I know I have had this before but obviously forgot how good it was> pours a golden amber great head initial aroma is what beer is supposed to smell like, hoppy smokey, spicy, tasty. Overall very drinkable Pale Ale

Poured from 473mL can. Slightly hazy golden yellow with white head. Citrusy grapefruit hops, mild resin, with a bit of skunk and malt.

A hazy pour, the colour of straw with a half finger white head. Fair active carbonation. Strong grapefruit hop aroma. Heavy hop flavour. Lightly bitter, moderate length. Surprisingly good. Refreshing. Not a hops fan, but I would get this again.

(Rating #5978)

Nice to see a rock-solid APA coming from my homeland.....I think? Sweet light golden elixir with a large and frothy white beard (the lacing....eek!), this has scents of biscuity malts, citrus, lemon, light pine and honey. The texture is nice and full feeling, some nice chewy with a medium carbonated body. Nice bittsweetness, mostly bitter, finishes a taste that matches the nose well. A soft lemon and pine flavour lingers and invites you to more. Extremely solid!

Nice citrus/pine hop bouquet with a good caramalt backbone, fruity bitter finish. Tried both can and draft, nice crisp, a solid Ontario APA.

A very greasy looking can fools you of what is inside. I guess had the older looking version. Pours a light amber with a white head. Aroma is of pine, citrus, tropical hops, and mango . Tastes of pine, citrus, light resin, bread, and mango. Has a light body with average carbonation and light bitterness. A superb beer, good thing they changed the look of the can.

Pours clear medium gold with two fingers of fluffy white head diminishing gradually to a thick cap, patchy lacing (4/5). Nose is bright citrus and mango, light resin and pine, with a light caramel and bready malt background (8/10). Taste is low sweetness and moderate to strong citrusy bitter, building pepperiness (8/10). Light to medium body, moderate to low sustained carbonation, lingering bitter finish (5/5). Another light(er), easy-drinking APA/IPA. Lighter and without the slight harshness of, for example, My Bitter Wife - but also not a DIPA, and with the associated significantly lower ABV. Loads of juicy, citrusy hops make this a very enjoyable and well-behaved thirst quencher. Well worth the cognitive dissonance detailed on the back of the can - a “fiercely irresponsible stereotypical image” on the can, but a “distinctly American style” of beer inside it. I’ll deal with my national identity crisis while I enjoy the beer. Sorry. (17/20)

From 473 ml can in tulip. Pour is slightly hazy golden yellow with a thin white head. The nose pleases with a huge amount of mango, passion fruit and grapefruit. Some grainy malty sweetness. The same strong fruitiness surprises in the mouth. Some residual sugars. The light body makes it easily drinkable but a stronger malty backbone would make this beer even better. Low to medium hop bitterness. Low ABV beer with a strong fruity and floral hop profile.

From le can. Yellowish orange pour with a decent, white head. Aromas of tropical fruit and pine. Creamy texture and has that nice balance of crisp hops and some faint malty sweetness. One of the better Canadian beers I have tried, and it comes in a pretty bad ass can.

Big can. Looks golden/amber. Aroma of a lot of citrusy and floral and resinous hops, some pale and light caramel malts, and some light dough. Flavor the same with a nice hoppiness. Average texture. A really cool pale ale.
