A double IPA hopped with New Zealand Pacific Gem and American Columbus hops. Three different types of caramel malt gives it a nice sweet bodie that balances the 100 ibu-bitterness nicely.

Sampled at SBWF 2013. Beghe fluffy head. Clear golden color. Dry malty aroma. Caramell taste and a small bitterness for an DIPA.

3.5.2014. Keg. Hazy orange with dense white head. Intense fruity aroma with passion fruit. Unfortunately taste is not similar but mostly sweet caramel, alcohol, pine. Not good at all if this (keg) is how it should be.

330ml bottle (Janoinen Lohi, Helsinki, Kalakierros 2014)
Sweet fruity hop aroma. Some booze in there, only gets worse as it warms. Orange, almost no head. Fairly watery palate, thin, decent carbonation. Very boring taste, sweet caramel malts, tropical fruit hops. Nothing of interest here, can happily scroll past. Except I stupidly bought a large one. Finish caramelly, some bitterness which is OK. Meh. The Bon Jovi of beer, played at high volume. Increasing volume only improves music that was good in the first place.

75cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian. Pours hazy orange with a white head. Medium hoppy aroma with some fruity notes, hints of caramel, malt and spices. Notes of alcohol. Medium sweet with fruity flavours and lightly bitter finish. Fair enough.

0.75l bottle. This is a deep blurry kinda dark golden colored one. The head is about a finger thick, bubbly, lacing and quite white in color. Smells quite nice, lots of citrussy yellow hop aromas with a nice fresh grassy thing as well. Light peachy, but more pineapple like to be honest. Smells a bit like an Indian restaurant I just went to, but I wouldn’t call it spicy. Smells nice. Oh, it gives your a little kick at first this. Well bitter initially but it’s still well balanced after a while in the mouth. The carbonation is just below average and it has a rich oily feeling in the mouth. Your can most certainly taste the alcohol here, but it’s not stingy in any way. Really fruity and tasty, light floral as well. Melon yeasty in the finish. It actually feels a bit mild in a strange way, could be cause it’s well balanced but this could easily have been a regular IPA as well. Still, it’s quite nice. 11.11.2013

Draught at Black Door. Amber color, white head. Bitter taste with citrus, floral hops, resin, caramel and mango. Bitter finish with citrus, mango and resin. Good double IPA, but not really exciting.

Yap@bd. Orange hasy. Ligth citrus, pale slight biscuity malts. Quite light, easy body for the abv. Some yeastyness, ssome herbs, meadowy stuff. Sort of bland. Good as a ipa, but strangely light for a dipa. The yeasty doughness is a bit annoying too.

Clear orange color, small steady off-white head. Resiny hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied. Resiny, pine needles, sweetish finish. Good drinkable DIPA.

On tap at Nydalen Bryggeri, august 23st 2013. Light amber body, big white head. Fruity and piny hop aroma with a mild caramel tone. Taste of apricot, peach, toffee, hay, quite nice. A bit on the sweet side, though bitterness shows in the aftertaste accompanied by a nice pine taste. A very nice dipa.
