This is an IPA made with Pilsner malt, Amber malt and a dash of rye malt. The amber malt gives it a nice nutty flavour and a slight toastiness. The rye adds a bit of a peppery taste. On top of this it´s hopped with Amarillo and Simcoe. This IPA will be an excellent pairing with Indian or Mexican food.

Hm, den var överraskande god! Bra fruktighet samtidigt hyfsat tryck i beskan. Inte extrem, utan snarare bara en rakt på ipa.

330ml bottle, gift from Stefan. Thanks! Pours a dirty orange unclear body with a small head that leaves some lacing. Grapefruit, carrots(?), apricot and wet grain to the nose. Grapefruit, orange peel, cereal and hint of resin and leather. Sense some coriander too, which is nice. (22.07.14)

Tap at Stone’s, Helsinki. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is zesty citrus, grassy hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a big nettle resin hop, light spice, mineral palate with some aspirin, floral notes. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Lots going on and an interesting take on an IPA.

UPDATED: JUL 9, 2014 Slightly hazy amber to orange beer with little white head. Aroma has citrusy hops, rye bready malts, brown sugar and resin. Flavor is resinous sharply bitter, spicy, sweet and rye bready malty. Palate is fuller than medium with soft carbonation and stinging bitterness. Finish is medium strong with aftertaste of rye bready malts. Decent IPA with strong rye taste which fits the style well.

DAA; Pours hazy amber with a lasting, lacing off-white head. Aroma is tropic, malt, caramel nutty, light cat pee and pepper spice. Taste is moderate sweet and bitter, balancing and lasting. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft

Tap @ Stone’s, Helsinki. Pours a dark yellow, hazy, nice, thick, off-white head. Aroma is hoppily fruity. Grapefruit, citrus, passionfruit, somewhat resinous. Taste is somewhat biscuity and caramel, grapefruity hops. Rather resinous and pithy again. Perhaps a bit disturbingly so. Medium with rather strong carbonation. Nicely fruity, but the stingy resin comes up too strong on the finish.
