Big offwhite lasting head. Clear yellow body, nearly still. Wooden tropical fruit and barnyard aroma with spicy salty notes. Dryish salty wooden barnyard taste with resiny fruity notes. Mid-bodied. Slightly harsh mouthfeel. Dry resiny wooden fruity aftertaste with chalky barnyard notes. Itís not bad, but too harsh and austere. (0.33l bottle, from wine monopoly, Oslo City.)

0.33l bottle. This is one of those cloudy straw yellow looking ones. It has a nice really lasting and what can only be described as a super lacing bright white head on top. On the nose I get tones of Nelson hops. Mild cat pee with lots of nice fresh zesty citrus. Smells really nice and fresh this. Slightly floral and slightly sweet also. Is there also a yeasty Belgian hint here? Nice. Ohh, itís definitely well hopped and somewhat far out in the bitter side. Like it. Feels nice and oily on the mouth and itís just above average on the carbonation. Really quenching and refreshing this. Yellow fruits, wheat sweetness, some sugar, a little extra floral in the taste also and itís just easy to like this. Not your average ipa at all, but itís pretty darn tastefully this! Would not mind having this again. 06.07.2014

7 4 6 3 13 Bottle. Hazy golden body with a big white no hype head. Aroma is light spicy with citrus and wheat, taste of citrus fruits, grass, fruity yeast esters. Good bitterness, dry and hoppy finish. All sounds good, still I feel it lacks something, being a little onedimensional. A good beer it is though, and Iíll happily have it again.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet, Kvadrat. Pours clear straw coloured with a huge frothy white head. Aroma of pale malts, coriander and citrus. Lively and fresh clean mouthfeel. Taste is clean and dry, high carbonated, with bitter pine and resins, pepper and spices lingers. Nice Swedish take on a German style.

Lys gylden, uklart. God lukt med sitrus og sitrongress. smaken er umiddelbar bitter, grapefrukt. Bitterheten henger fint med i ettersmaken.

Pours a hazy, very pale yellow body with a large, white, very long-lived head that has a decent thickness until the glass is empty. A good amount of lacing is left on the glass. The aroma is strong, fruity, acidic, crisp, spicy and yeasty, but not at all that hoppy, considering this is an IPA, according to the bottle. I get lots of citric notes, mostly lemon and lots of light fruits as well. The yeasty notes remind me most of all of saison yeast, and definitely not hefeweissen, as RateBeer claims is the style of this beer as Iím writing this rating (I assume this obvious error will be corrected pretty soon). The saison-ish notes with faint funky hints of barnyard are precent in the strong flavour as well, especially in the long-lasting finish. Lots of refreshing and acidic fruity notes that are dominated by lemon and orange. Itís also spicy, with a distinct peppery aftertaste. The taste is light sweet and moderate bitter. This light and dry beer is very crisp and refreshing and has a moderate carbonation. A very nice beer, probably the best white hefesweissaison IPAs Iíve ever had.

The appearance is really much like a wit; think hoegaarden or the sorts. The aroma has citrus, lemonpeel, but also some great american hop smells as well as a classical wit-aroma with more citrus/coriander notes.. Flavor is first and foremost the hops. They are really forward and pungent with flavors of resin, pine and maybe some citrus. Itís not really well balanced, as it is really freakin bitter, and there is not much sweetness to balance it all out. If it was a little sweeter, it would be freaking awesome.

Bottle, at Gladmat. Itís an unclear, pale yellow-ish colored beer topped by a two-finger white head. Citrus, coriander, pine cones and some pale malts in the aroma.Notes of orange zest. It has a nice bitterness in the mouth, itís semi-dry and medium to full-bodied, with a high but pleasant carbonation level. Pine cones, citrus peel and a touch of coriander, as well as pale malts in the flavor, leading to a finish where the bitterness is slightly more pronounced. Some peppery hints in the end as well. A refreshing and tasteful one. 140726
