COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Shilling categories were based on price charged per hogshead (54 Imperial gallons) during the 19th century in Scotland. Our 70 Shilling has medium malty sweetness, low hop character and mild caramel notes leading to a clean dry finish.

Draft. Pours amber with an off white head. Malty aroma with toasty and grainy notes. The flavor is again, very malt forward, with toast, grains, and very low bitterness. Very drinkable.

Braudog (4606) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - AUG 25, 2011
Draft at the brewpub. Orange-red and semi-active. Super, super biscuity, sweet and bready. My least favorite Cane Ann beer, by far. (#4229, 8/24/2011)

(Draft @ brewpub) Hazy light amber. Rotty, eggy aroma. Thin, prickly mouthfeel. Flavor is eggy, bready and also features a residual bad yeast note. Ek.
