12 oz bottle. Clear dark gold with a big white head. Sweet malty nose, caramel and orange, a bit grainy with some earthiness. Flavor is more earthy than expected, some mild citrus, a bit of herbal hoppiness. This is a nice little session beer. Nice, drippy lacing. Citrus comes through stronger in the finish. Not bad at all...

Jul 22, 2008 Bottle from Squire’s. Pours chill hazy copper with 2-finger off-white head. Nose is pale malt, funky yeast, hopcitrus, some peppery notes. Tastes of caramel malt, hops, mild honey and fruit.

Jun 24, 2008 Bright orange-amber. Very toasty aroma, some crackers and caramel. Fresh, toasty, with lots of fruity, spicy notes. Somewhat caramelly. I’m surprised, this is good.
