(Draft @ brewpub) Dark brown with small tan head, a little darker than the regular oyster stout. Aroma of chocolate and coffee - more of a ground coffee note than the regular. Palate is fizzy, thin, wooden and dryish, possibly slightly more texture than the regular but not much. Flavor of bitter chocolate and strong dark coffee but overall "meh".

Draft at the brewpub. Interesting addition to the basic stout ... makes it much better, with a definite java character, but also a hint of bitter dark chocolate. (#4231, 8/24/2011)
