COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Going against our mission to make balanced beer, the Greenhorn is our best attempt to stay on course in a style that is anything but balance. Slightly sweet, and mildly bitter, it has a beautiful grapefruit aroma that bursts through from the Simcoe hops, the dominant hop in this beer.

A hazed orange amber IPA with a thin white head. In aroma, resinous and meaty c-hops, fragrant citrus, quite nice. In mouth, a smooth and fragrant double IPA with mentholated c-hops, alcohol, nice and pleasant. On tap at Boston Beer Summit, Jan. 15 2011.
