22oz – The Perfect Pour - Poured into a snifter and consumed over a 45 minute time span. Black, tan creamy head. Roasty cinnamon and light burnt chocolate aromas warm to swirls of nutty vanilla bean and earthed caramel-nutmeg cake. Soft roasted pumpkin flavor rests on a foundation of sweet spice and hints of black cocoa and caramel throughout. Full bodied, soft carbonation, lightly charred, bittersweet finish. Not too many Imperial Pumpkin Stouts out there, but this one was a good sipper on a crisp autumn night...

22 oz. bottle. Black pour with a beautiful frothy light brown head that lingers nicely. Nose holds all of those classic pumpkin notes, with cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin flesh, brown sugar and molasses, and touches of chocolate malt. Flavor brings a bit more roasted malt out, but still mostly those pumpkin notes. Crisp carbonation that finishes pretty quickly. Exceptionally drinkable. Solid.

650ml bottle in pint glass. Pours dark brown with some clarity. Caramel colored head is active only long enough to cover the surface, then recedes to the edges, with a minor bit of lacing. Mouthfeel is not creamy/malty but more light and straightforward. Little carbonation. Taste is good. Clearly spiced. I’m not getting "pumpkin" spices or taste per se, but it’s tasty. Mild bite on the front end. Pretty good.

Bottle [12oz]. Pours a deep ruby/dark brown with a large semi-lasting frothy beige head. Nice aroma of pumpkin and spices first followed by light roasted malt and vanilla. Malty flavour along with spices, pumpkin, light leafy hops and a hint of vanilla -- it’s all a bit subtle, I expect a bigger flavour in this style. Average bodies. I don’t get a lot of Stout in this but it’s still enjoyable.

pretty much the same as the regular pumpkin stout with a little abv burn to it, and the palate is a little too much roasty flavor that ruins the pumpkin, should be a little sweeter.

From the 2011 series. It pours a deep dark brown with a foamy head that diminishes quicker than I expected although it leaves a fine ring. The aroma is exquisite with dark malts, smoke, and pumpkin spice. Extremely enticing. The body is about medium and quite smooth. The taste is bold with dark sweetened smoke, decent bitterness, and pumpkin spice. It ends sharp. This is very nice.
