Nicely balanced nose, sweet caramel malt and bread with orange and grapefruit. Flavor is nice, bready malt with orange and grapefruit rind. Herbal finish, some lemon zest. Very drinkable, medium bodied with excellent lace rings. Solid beer.

I liked this one would buy again Rune (1807), Tromsų, Norway Sep 1, 2008 Gravicask at the international bar (bsf) at the GBBF 08. Appealing shining mahogany body. Pine hoppy to the nose. Fruity-malts in flavour with a touch of berries. Rounded bitter ending. Well bodied (05.08.2008). Ibrew2or3 (1756), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA Aug 25, 2008 Courtesy of GMCC2181. 12oz bottle pours up orange - copper with thin off white head. The mild aroma comes off as roasty with just a bit of pine hop character. The taste begins with roasted malts and pine hop bitterness and moves towards a little nuttiness and faint butterscotch. Midway and to the finish the roasted malts and pine hop bitterness alternately surge forward and back again in strength. It leaves a tasty hop bitterness and mild roasted malt note behind in the after taste favoring the hops. Sigmund (1961), Hafrsfjord, Norway Aug 16, 2008 Cask at the GBBF 2008, gravity dispense. Copper coloured beer, minimal head. Nice hoppy aroma and flavour, notes of blackcurrants. vyvvy (1722), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA Aug 14, 2008 Pours dark orange / bronze with a deep tan head that’s quite dark for an IPA. The arom has lots of chewy malt and some fully juicy grapefruit and orange. Medium / full body with semi-sharp carbonation that’s a bit slick. The flavor starts with dry toffee, caramel, toasted malt and light woodiness. The finish is dry and lingering. Okay IPA.
