At CCB. Golden with visible carbonation white head. Mild corn aroma. Light, crisp, corn flavor.

16 oz can at a restaurant. Pours clear fizzy and solid gold. Lively carbonation, crisp, decently strong malt backbone. Almost no discernable hops. Decent summer beer, a little too far on the bland side.

Draft at the brewery. Pretty clear yellow, white thin cream. Oddly fruity aroma. Slight sour and cooling, not great.

Growler. A yellow beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, grain, and straw, leading to a sweet finish. Boring compared to other Cape Cod beers.

Slightly hazy body, tiny white head. The aroma is yeast, wood and very faded. The taste is light, with strong yeasts. Not so much of a blond ale and more of a hefe. Weird.

Draft at a Cooke’s, 8/11/2015
Clear blonde color. Fizzy. Light, malty aroma. Lightly sweet. Tastes of malt and macro lager adjuncts, which is odd for a craft blonde ale. Feels kinda watery and fizzy. Not terrible I guess, but not a very good beer.

4 pack of fresh 16oz cans drunk Winter ’14-’15.
Nothin like a beach blonde ale in the heart of Winter, I always say (I actually don’t). Actually a slight haze to this otherwise pencil yellow beer with a moderate amount of foamy white head.
Quite grainy in the nose with just a touch of perfumey-like floral hoppiness, but mostly earthy, dry-herbal hops and light corn and vanilla (wouldnt say DMS). Minerals, no alcohol.
A mouthful of sweet honey up front is stretched out over the mostly lean body as carbonation distributes it more evenly. Light toasted character has some mildly husky/grainy quality to it with heavy fruitiness. Perhaps a slight hint of diacetyl or DMS even, but it’s minor at best. Drinkable and with enough body and crispness on the end to satisfy.

Pours a dark amber from a can, aroma nice light maltiness, good refreshing beer with nice flavor without being heavy, a good post-beach beer.

Can at my sister’s a souvenir from her trip to the US. It has a solid fruity aroma with light cracker notes. Flatbread maltiness, a bit of honey, light fruits a nice satisfying well made blonde.

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a slight golden yellow color with streams of carbonation to be seen rising through the beer. Bar pour yielded a film of a white head. Barely any lacing stuck around the glass. The smell had a sweet corn with some light toasted caramel notes. The taste was pretty much the same. On the palate, this one sat fairly light on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was good for the style and to me. There’s a decent smoothness running over my tongue. Overall, good blonde ale I could probably pound on a Cape Cod beach.
