bitbucket (1476), Kirkland, Washington, USA Sep 13, 2007 Growler. Pours clear mahogany with a thick and fluffy off-white head. Medium body and carbonation. Herbal hop aroma. Nutty malt taste with a dash of butterscotch. Lingering pine finish. jjpigs (6), chatham, New Jersey, USA does not count Aug 3, 2007 on drafty in the cape. a nice ruby ale, with a well balanced but hoppy bite a very enjoyable local beer. also available in 64 oz jugs. dansar (1), Andover, Massachusetts, USA does not count Aug 27, 2006 I have found this at several pubs and restaurants in the mid-cape area (Barnstable Tavern, Scargo Cafe, Chapins). This beer has a deep amber color, is clear, pours with a fairly small but creamy head. It starts off with a taste like Bass Ale but has a more hoppy, spicy followthrough. Carbonation and body is just right. This is a great beer, would be nice to know if is available in bottles.
