Got the last growler of the season at the brewery. Poured a molasses black with a pillowy brown head that lasted for awhile. Roasty toasty notes along with coffee, vanilla, and some chocolate. Yum.

Growler. Pours a deep dark black with a medium to large sized dark tan head that cascades down beautifully, even toward the end of the growler. Big sweet roast on the nose, touches of cocoa, and hints of coffee. Medium bodied, roast, a touch of lacto sweetness. Easy drinking for a beer so full of roast. Long sweet roast on the finish with more dusty cocoa. Nice stuff. Very sessionable.

Pours dark black tan head, thanks Jason! Grain, milky, roasty, some chocolate and biscuit. Taste is roasty, biscuit, grain, done chocolate, milky mouth. Good stuff!

Growler. Poured rich, deep brown with a towering, darker tan head.. looked great in the glass! The aroma picked up sweeter milk chocolates with lesser coffee and some vanilla.. sweet overall and welcoming. The flavor found the same milky chocolates (with related tartness on the edges), paired with other ashy dark malts.. tangy milk chocolates on the grainy, well-balanced finish. Light-medium bodied and dry on the palate.. the lactic character really worked.. perfect moderate roast to it.. I could drink a whole lot!
