gyllenbock (1918) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 4, 2011
Bottle at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm, August 2011. My first beer from Argentina. Almost black with a medium tan head. Aroma was roasted malt, licorice and coffee. Also some notes of wood. The taste was about the same but with quite a lot of chocolate. The body was light. Not bad considering that the expiration date passed two years ago.

Bottled@Monks Porterhouse. Quite much black colour, small beigeish brown hea. Aroma is liquorice, toffee, roasted malts, some mild wooden and syrupy notes. Flavour is much the same. Even though BBE was passed by quite a long time ago, this still tasted rather nice.
