3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 dmac (3166) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - JUN 17, 2012Draft at the brewery. Poured an okay looking amber body with an average sized foamy off white head. Aroma of earth, bread, toast and light citrus. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavor is much like the aroma with a big grain bill with lots of bread and toast and only light hop flavor. Meh I don’t like "balanced" IPAs, if it’s going to be an IPA give me hops.
3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 closey22 (235) - Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, USA - MAY 18, 2013
Hazy Orange with thin white head; aroma is great blend of flowery sweetness and hop spiciness ; Flava is bitter ; finishes dry and bitter
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 egajdzis (4896) - Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 9, 2012
Hazed amber with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of grass, caramel, and light floral hops. Taste of bitter, grassy hops, more caramel, and finishing with an unpleasant raw hop bitterness. Sweet (again), yet bitter and just all over the place.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 HeadyDE (227) - Delaware, USA - AUG 4, 2012
Sample at brewery..final tasting of the bunch. Not very much exciting going on here. Thought this would be much better after seeing something that this got an award at the ac beer festival. Not much aroma or carbonation. Called an ipa but in description at brewery regarded as a pale ale. Not really a noticeable hop presence in taste. Tasted like a very bland and dull American pale ale. For those who claim this is a session beer, I just don’t think so..not a fan of this..
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Dfonorow (710) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 18, 2012
Pour is hazy amber with a decent sized white head. Aroma is of great floral hops with a slight sweetness in the background. The taste is a lot more sweet forward than a normal IPA but still finishes with a great bitterness.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 micronaut129 (143) - chalfontborotowntonbergville, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 9, 2012
An amber hued hazy beer. Aroma was a balance between floral hops and sweet malts. Taste was smooth and refreshing with a mildly hop bite and sweet malts. Not bitter at all and pretty flavorful. I had mine right out of the growler.
3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 JFGrind (1715) - Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 16, 2012
Hoppy medium bodied amber IPA. Pine and cirtrus hops with a real fresh flavor in this straight forward India Pale Ale. On draft @ Goodnight Irene’s in Wildwood, NJ.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 keepersj12 (2240) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - APR 1, 2012
A sample at the AC Beer Fest. Maybe not fair to judge on such a small sample but it was a little too sweet and not hoppy enough for my taste. I will seek it out and try a pint and rerate down the road.
