COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
After researching brewing styles from the turn of the last century, Capital has created an outstanding, mild, American-style beer. This pilsner beer comes from an old Wisconsin recipe, circa 1900, and has a smoothness that the big beer companies will envy.

transparent light golden color with white head quickly fading...smells malty with a hint of bananna, malt smell comes through in the flavor with very little hop taste...dry finish...quite drinkable.

This was a nice smooth beer. just the right amount of head. The flavor was a bit to weak.

Nexxus (261) - Apple Valley, Minnesota, USA - JAN 16, 2004
UPDATED: APR 19, 2004 Clear light amber with a thick diminishing white head. A nice citrus floral aroma with honey, light bread, vanilla, and a hint of spice. Light body with a moderate amount of carbonation. Very smooth light flavor with dough, pepper, citrus, apricot and honey. Very drinkable. Surprisingly good, I usually don't like pilsners much.

This is decent. Slightly floral in aroma and taste. Creamy palate. Smooth. Not terribly compelling otherwise though.

Beautiful light amber color. Nice caramel and honey aroma. Hint of wheat in the flavor. Finishes fairly smooth, but has a little bit of grainy aftertaste. Very little white head. Decent full mouth feel.

A white foamy head on a golden color brew. Slight aroma, not too distinct but there.

Slightly skunked, but otherwise not a bad pilsener. Maybe I'll find a fresh bottle to compare someday.

Golden color, slight malty caramel in the nose. Smooth drinking with a peppery dry hop finish.
