Large head and a rather strange shade of brown. A subtle hint of something that might have been complexity, but it was really too faint to tell, it might have just been skunky.

UPDATED: APR 15, 2007 Aroma is a mix of grain and cereal malt as well as yeast and corn. I detect a very pleasant sweetness in the aroma but cannot put my finger on what it is coming from.
The head pours small, creamy, and white. It is mostly diminishing. The body is clear and slightly hazy. The body is a pleasant golden hue.
The initial flavor is slightly sweet and finishes with a cereal/grainy taste lasting average to long in duration.
It is medium bodied. The carbonation is lively. Texture is watery but not in a bad way. Sweet, satisfying, smooth finish.

Watching ’Goonies’, having some dirty rice...this beer goes great with it. Minimal white head, fizzy yellow body and a whole lotta bubbles. Almost no aroma, but a very very smooth taste and light body. A twinge of malt and a citrus bounce, but nothing too memorable. Feels like what macro beers WANT to taste like.

A white foamy head on a golden color brew. Slight aroma, not too distinct but there.

A nice American standard, edges Leinie Org.Attractive golden, nice natural head with laciness, subdued malt aroma, good mouthfeel, clean slightly hoppy finish. Sure beats macro but why pay Capital prices for a standard?

This is one of my favorite capital brewery beers. Great for drinking on warm summer nights. I can’t wait to get back to Madison to have some.
