A deep golden color leads one to an extremely flavorful, yet very drinkable beer of great character. Treat this malt monster with respect! Available March and April.

UPDATED: JUN 1, 2005 Golden-amber colour. Aroma is light, fruity (guanabana), faintly malty. Malt is much more assertive in the flavour - a slightly sticky, chewy caramelized pale malt like the beer had a four hour boil. Slight alcohol note in the sweet, chewy finish.

Bottle from Archer Liquors. Pours copper with a little creamy/bubbly white head. Aroma of lightly roasted malt with a touch of something like citrus. Medium plus body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is definitely lightly roasted malt with some hop bitter for balance. Hop is floral/earthy rather than citrus/pine. Fairly tasty.

Sample at the Eurostash tasting on 04/30/09: The beer is a mostly clear golden-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. Caramel malt, yeast and fruit in the nose. Medium body that is almost syrupy at times. Flavors of malt, caramel and fruit with underlying yeast and very little hops. The finish is fruity with a toasty malt aftertaste. Decent overall.
