COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This brown ale has a deep brown tone and an exceptionally creamy head which is derived from imported crystal malts. The crystal malts are also responsible for a rich, nutty flavor. Mild hop presence from imported Fuggles and Brewers Gold balance the unique malt combination

Nice light brown color. No head, but lots of carbonation. A little nutty taste, but nothing too impressive. Kind of bland, but nice to drink.

Well, I liked the color and the aroma, not the taste. THis beer left me feeling slighted. Perhaps I am not a fan of brown ales, they always seem to be a little lacking on flavor and palate. This on is no different, it does however have a nice clean finish and is quite inexpensive, which is always nice. I would recommend this beer, but with reservations.

Appearance: medium golden brown. Tiny head, lotsa carbonation. Smell: a bit of a sweet scent. Nothing spectacular. Taste: Not the best brown ale I've had. It's not terrible, but not all that good. Kinda tangly bitter aftertaste I'm not crazy about. Mouthfeel: Nice caronation feel, but a bit too tangy Drinkability: I'm going low on this one. There are much better brown ales out there. It seems as if Capital did this one quickly and cheaply, so that they could say they have yet another beer.

light brown color with an off white creamy head, nutty and slight chocolate smell, medium body with nutty flavor and a little malt, an average brown ale

Had this bottled in Stevens Point Wisconsin. Slightly dissapointing -- had an off taste. Not much taste here.

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2004 Pours a clear amber with a thick off white head. Has a great bready, malty aroma. Light, watery body with a moderate amount of carbonation. The flavor has bread, nut and malt notes. This is a pleasant beer, although I wish its mouthfeel was a tad heavier. A good, if uninspiring, brown ale.

When poured, this beer had a medium sized ivory creamy and smooth head with fine-small sized bubbles. The body was carbonated and clear with a reddish-brown hue.The nose was malty and caramel. The flavor was caramel, malt and a hint of coffee with a very smooth mouthfeel that made this beer very drinkable and enjoyable.
