COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Capital’s Door County Lager is classified as an American Lager, made with grain grown on Door County’s Washington Island. When you enjoy your first DC Lager, you will notice that is has a clear, golden hue and a dense creamy head. A blended mix of 6 row and 2 row malted barley, with wheat. Very mild bitterness from the Cascade and Liberty hops with a sweet finish. Those that find lighter beers appealing, will find DC lager refreshing.

On draught at the Capital brewery biergarten in Middleton, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear golden straw colored brew with a fast dissolving off-white head, yet leaves behind some spotty lacing and a film top. Aroma of toated golden grain malt, a touch of wheat, light grassy hops and a touch of pear zest. Taste is light to medium bodied, flavors of toasted golden grain malt and a hint of grassy hops. Finish is light, some toasted golden grain aftertaste with some low bitterness at first followed by a crisp and clean cut aftertaste. Everything I expected from a golden malt and wheat lager.
