Bottle. Courtesy 1FastSti. Aroma light toasty bready malt light perfume. Poured a copperish ruby and thin creamed head. Flavor was nice and crisply bitter, toasted malts and fruit. Palate was suprisingly fast drying and clean. It’s damn tasty so I’ll finish it. Thanks again 1Fast!!

This poured a murky medium brown color with an off white head. Aroma was lots of toffee and dark fruit and light toasted notes. Flavor was very sweet yet smooth with toffee caramel and some light dates. Great Eisbock.

12 oz bottle, via iowaherkeye I think. Pours a perfectly clear copper body under a fizzy off-white head that quickly fell to a patchy film. The aroma is an all out malt bomb. Heavy caramel and lighter toffee malt with some vanilla, alcohol vapors, and some light fruity esters. The flavor is quite clean and rich, loads of sweet malt without being sticky and fairly light alcohol given the ABV. Long candy-like sweet malt finish. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with a hefty, almost syrupy texture, but not sticky somehow. Nice soft moderate carbonation. A very nice beer for sure.

Pours a rich looking copper amber with one finger of creamy tawny head. Nose is rich and dextrinous with notes of caramel, toast, raisin, and some spice. Flavor is rich and malt forward. Nice caramel malt character with a touch of toasted grain and spice. Palate is super smooth with no alcohol coming through until the finish and a nice full body.

Bottle from captaincougar. Pours a medium brown with a thin white head. Earthy, vinous, very malty and rich with a little alcohol coming through. A lot more alcohol coming through at the end. Thick, rich, and malty. I though this was pretty good.

This beer has a very bold , amber appearance (almost red!) with no carbonation. The aroma is spice-like, rather sweet, and almost like an ale. The taste is quite rich and caramel-like, not as sweet as the aroma, though. The malt is very present. Quite smooth. This is a harder beer to describe myself, as I am not too used to eisbocks, but this is excellent! (Note: This beer is a limited release.)

12 oz bottle sampled from drewbeerme. Orange amber color with an off white head. Maltly syruppy carmel aroma with some hops. The flavor is more of the same sweet malty syruppy, red fruits, a hint of alcohol. But like most of the capital lineup, not crazy, not amazing, but a solid lager.

Sampled courtesy of badbeer. I’ve been wanting to try this for a few years now so it was awesome to try it out. The beer pours a good red color. The aroma is slightly spicy with plenty of booze apples and cherry. The flavor is very brandy like with notes of alcohol and liquorish. For all the booziness it has a wonderful silky texture. Very enjoyable.

[Bottle, thanks Skyview] Pours dark amber with a nice beige head. Aroma is banana and malt. Sweet, spicy taste with some muted roasted malt in the finish (which is long). Quite smooth. Medium mouthfeel. A nice beer.

Bottle pours red-amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet and earthy, showing notes of toffee, fig, apricot, and a touch of brown sugar. Flavor shows the same with an additional caramel/applesauce thing, as well as some slight oxidation going on. Pretty interesting stuff. Overall body is relatively moderate considering alc, and the finish is nice and warm. Bravo.
