pours a hazy straw gold with a thick frothy white head. Aroma is light lemon citrus. Taste is bright, sweet at first then ever so slightly bitter. Fairly clean finish with a tiny bit of bitter linger. A nice, sessionable IPA. Good beer!

Bottle shared by Eric. Aroma is lemon zest, floral, dandelion, and flour. Pours light and hazy with a medium thick wit head. Taste is buttery with some light citrus (lime), floral, and a bland dusty malt. All in all, a pleasant marriage of wit yeast and hops. Tastes a little on the old/stale side but this certainly is a drinkalbe brew.

Bottled. Poured near-clear, brighter golden with a tall, sticky white head. The aroma picked up biscuity notes and honey with accents of coriander, lemon zest, and white pepper.. sweeter lemon meat around.. nice. The flavor found tart, but sweet lemon on the tip of the tongue, with pale and biscuity malts following.. cloves and coriander laced throughout.. kind of meaty on the finish with residual Belgian yeasty spices. Medium-bodied, but fairly filling on the palate.. lots of carbonation.. a bit sweet for my liking, but easy to drink and interesting.

Bottle from Breeze Thru. Pours a yellow golden with a white head, some streaks of lace. Aroma has light fruits, some spice and lighter malt. Taste is fruity, crisp, light with some bready malts. Tangy and light-to-medium bodied. Shrug? Refreshing, sure. Not a macro, sure. Otherwise, blah. 12.8

Can pour. This is an inoffensive and easily drinkable IPA. Has some qualities of a Wit - slight coriander note and some citrus rind. Otherwise, fair bit of bread here. Not bad in any way but slightly forgettable.

If you handed me this and didnít tell me what it was, Iíd say it was a kind of average APA. It is cloudy orange w/ a head of mixed bubbles. It is mildly hoppy w/ some floral notes which I guess could be from some Belgian yeast and citrus which I suppose might be from citrus. This has a creamy texture and is a bit on the thick side but not too sweet. It finishes w/ a mild vegetable bitterness. This stuff is drinkable for sure but is nothing special by any means.

12 oz. can, consumed on 8-19-14. Sharp aroma features scents of lemon, honey, coriander, and orange. Pours a bright, tannish, orange-ish gold. Cloudy, hazy, opaque liquid. Moderate amount of soft, off-white head. Produces moderate amount of lacing. Looks good. Dry, bready taste features citrus and vanilla flavors. Light to medium body. Lively in the palate. Overall, Capital Ghost Ship is a solid beer and a good hot-weather refresher. That said, itís forgettable.

Aroma is citrus, spices and lemon Pledge. The flavor is citrus/lemon, wheat, spices and a mildly biter/malty finish.

A new (to me) canned offering, pouring a hazy straw body with a sustained foamy white head. The aroma that seeps through the dense head is mainly fresh oranges, most probably from the orange peel, with a touch of zest. The wheat presents itself in the flavor as white bread dough, softly sweet. There are some nice citrus flavors from both the hops and the orange peel. The coriander doesnít show itself too much (thank you) except as a powdery dryness. What I like best is the steady zesty bitterness, not too strong, but sturdy and lasting well into the dry finish. Nice. I havenít had a Capital beer in quite a while. Iíll have to change my ways.

Taster on tap, thanks to Nuplastikk for sharing from his pint. Almost entirely hazy orange golden color. Thin off-white head. Leaves great, thicker lace. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Light slick finish. Some good citrus peel hop, nice light zesty spicy taste, some belgian wit yeast. Moderate sweet, moderate bitter, good zest. Satisfying wit IPA.

Hazy straw-colored body with a frothy 2" head which leaves very nice lace. Flavor is primarily citrus up front with a moderately bittered finish. Creamy body with soft carbonation. Solid beer.
