This unfiltered ale is brewed with wheat, spices and citrus which are accentuated by the bright grapefruit flavor and aroma of Amarillo hops. Donít let itís pale color fool you, itís scary good.

pours a hazy straw gold with a thick frothy white head. Aroma is light lemon citrus. Taste is bright, sweet at first then ever so slightly bitter. Fairly clean finish with a tiny bit of bitter linger. A nice, sessionable IPA. Good beer!

12 oz. bottle poured to a shaker at the Shoreline Restaurant bar in Gills Rock, WI. Showed a hazed, orangey gold color, with an off white head that changed into a persistent, rocky layer, and spiraling spray as lacing. The nose was initially dank, then notes of pit fruit as peach, and some citrus, Medium bodied, with decent carbonation, the taste added a medium citrus & rind bitterness that lingered. Flavorful, but didnít really sense the Wit yeast or spicing that is indicative of this style of IPA.

A typical release from Capital Brewing continues to demonstrate their flexibility. On par with a umber of other white IPAs, this deserves a singles purchase if you like exploring what the Midwestern take on this emerging style has evolved into.

Aroma / Appearance - A golden base absorbs light like a light champagne complete with bubbly carbonation. Yeasty white pepper, light pleasant hops, coriander, and lemon give this a pleasant spring feel.

Flavor / Palate - A light salty bitterness morphs into dry yeast and white custard. Summery and spicy, it provides a full experience from start to finish. Iím not sure I would want a six pack around but if I still lived in Madison the occasional draft on a hot summer day would be very refreshing.

Tap at Old Fashioned. Unfiltered amber-orange cream. Decent, kind of thin. Cheap ingredients a la Capital. Not really bad or off, just cheap and unimpressive. Definitely not worth a premium bomber price. Messy White IPA.
