3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Orange with nice fluffy head. Looks like an IPA. Tastes like they just added some hops at the end. Not bitter but very little citrus aroma. Creamy on the palate. Overall I'm not a fan but it feels like the got what they wanted in the name.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bonus courtesy of GhostFace. The 12oz bottle pours clear copper with gold edges and white head. The mild aroma delivers a thin mix of sweet citrus hard candy and a malt breadiness. The taste has some sweet malts running into a modest level of earthy to citrus hop bitterness and then a mild earthy tea like sensation. Nice Pale Ale like hoppiness.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle courtesy of GhostFace. Cheers, Neal! What an awesome session beer. Pours a hazy orange- gold with a white head. Nose is light malt with grassy/ herbal hops, floral hops, and some light yeast. Flavor is light malt and grassy and herbal hops, light lemon, and some yeast. Light in body and very sessionable. Nice flavor burst with lingering yeast and hops in the finish.

Bottle from singles rack at local grocer...pours a foggy yellow with thin while head. Hoppy nose and initial taste....a little bitter at end...not what Iíd expect in a crean ale but I like it...will be back

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
I understand what they aimed for. A nice hop taste but a very smooth mouthfeel with little bitterness. Theyíre close but not quite there yet. Poursa light copper color with a fair amount of webbed lacing. Aroma is citrus and floral hops, not too strong. Taste is very smooth up front......itís almost like a smoother czech pils or something.

Nice hoppy aroma without overpowering. Citrus and hop taste, but very very creamy. Creamy but light on the palate. Overall, quite excellent.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Definitely a cream ale. The hop additions though donít really come through for me. Itís a light, fairly generic, medium bodied beer.

Bought as a part of a mixer sixer at a Hy Vee somewhere I was driving through in IL. Decent beer overall. Dont think it is representative of the cream ale style, but I would drink it again. Decent aroma and a good taste of hops and pine with a citrusy finish. I would try it again if I didnt have to pay for it !

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: OCT 2, 2012 Hazy orange color. Smell is about as discrete as it gets; you are not going to know anything about this stuff until itís in your mouth. Flavor is hoppy but not aggressive. Feels a tad watery but the flavor sticks around nicely.
This is a simple, crisp ale that, if nothing else, canít be accused of not living up to its name.

Draft at Brass Tap. Not typically a fan of cream ales, but the addition of the hops makes this one quite enjoyable. Nicely done Capital.
